This station, which bills itself as "rock alternative" (used to be "Indy's new rock alternative,"…read morebut after being around for over a decade, I think they realized that slogan wasn't really appropriate anymore) seemed awesome when I was in middle school. Angsty, screaming heavy rock with way too much distortion and seriously weak lyrics. I think this stuff is worse than emo, because it's just as whiny but the guys are all under some kind of illusion that they're hardcore. A lot of it is also kind of metal goth-y, ala Rob Zombie, with lots of talk about dead bodies, and pain, blah blah blah. I gave them two stars because occasionally you'll hear some good Nirvana or something (I feel like this ages me), but overall, I'm not a fan. Also, their website has links for things like "X-Girlfriend" and "XXX-Girlfriend." Yuk yuk yuk. And puke.

At noon the group…read more(about 20 of us) were walked to a room where Gabby and her guitar player were sitting on stage. She sang three song including her hit "I hope" Afterwards she signed autographs and took pictures with everyone. It was great to see an up and comer in such an intimate setting. Flagrant Foul with Stuck & Gunner is the only radio show I listen to in the morning. They're…read morehilarious. Even if you're not into sports, you'll be entertained. Before this show came on, I only listened to Satellite or my iPod. Anybody who is anybody in Indianapolis sports is on this show like Robin Miller, Vince Welch, and Bob Kravitz. I love the Mafia callers like Long Island Lenny & Pauly from Brooklyn who are always cracking me up. Anyone can call in. I've called in twice. They answer the phone. You never know what the next person will say, but Stuck & Gunner always have some quick-witted response. I wish they were on 7 days a week!
