    Inside 99 ranch market

Newly opened Malatang inside 99 ranch market. Tried it after grocery shopping today, selection was decent, soup base was great, tons of seating and no tipping required is big plus. Will definitely be back.

At the table we shared two soups, and we were recommended the Nabe signature and the sukiyaki. Meats, hot appetizers and sushi are unlimited just order through the server. The buffet area has seafood, noodles and rice, sauces, and veggies self serve. Food was tasty though perhaps being among the first parties of the day the meats were still frozen and not quite defrosted when they reached the table.

The broths lacked some flavor no matter what we added, it tasted like a diluted version of what it should be. The meats were fine, I loved that they had the cold/raw seafood bar. The plates for the toppings bar all looked dirty. We sorted through plates to find acceptable ones. The toppings bar did have many options to choose from. The service was subpar, no personality and we had to ask for more water and napkins because we were left unattended for a while.. The WORST part about it was the music. The music kept cutting out and glitching. We thought somebody would fix it part way through but no. They should have just turned it off at that point. It was already busy and noisy in there to begin with. The music made me over stimulated.

Sometimes we also order the Giant Squid, and it's really good too. For dessert, we love their Mango Jelly. Parking is very convenient, the place is spacious, and the service was excellent. My ALL TIME FAVORITE HOT POT FLAVOR @ Alleyway!…read more SEA SALT CREAM TOMATO: Tomato, Sliced Beef, Vermicelli, Shrimp, Spam, Meat Ball, Fish Tofu, Crab Meat, Lobster Ball, Napa Cabbage, Corn cob, Mushroom, Sliced Potatoes, Konjac, Tofu Skin, Mussels, & Sea Salt Cream. (Served with warm white rice). This broth is incredibly hearty and flavorful without being overly spicy, which I really appreciate. I personally like mine a bit saltier with more heat, so I always customize it with the condiments at the table and turn it up to my liking! Every time, it comes out absolutely delicious and feels like the perfect comfort meal, especially if you are dealing with a hangover or feeling a bit sick! I have been here at least 25 times, and it consistently hits the spot every single visit. I love how the interior has the coolest lego sets & the establishment has so much personality & character! But majority of the time, I do prefer to do take out. The vermicelli noodles soak up all that rich broth, making each bite extra satisfying and comforting. They are also very generous with the toppings, so you never feel like you're still hungry. I honestly never finish my hotpot here. It's great to share with a friend! One thing I love is the variety on the menu. Beyond hot pot, they offer items like fried giant squid which is super tasty, dumplings, orange chicken, udon, fried rice, and even desserts. There is something for everyone. If you are not in the mood for soup, they also have dry hot pot, which is just as flavorful. Another great touch is the ability to customize your meal even further by adding extra toppings like quail eggs or konjac noodles. They really lets you tailor everything exactly how you'd want it (just no subbing a topping out for another!). Overall, this place never disappoints. The quality, flavor, and consistency keep me coming back again and again! The best hot pot Las Vegas has to offer in my opinion!

I don't eat sushi so I only had shabu and I enjoyed the food. There were two of us so we could get two servings of each of the premium meats. The first round, I couldn't tell the difference between the premium and regular meats, they basically looked the same, decent but nothing spectacular. The second order we placed though you could really tell the difference and the premium short rib looked and tasted amazing. Meats are really thin, sometimes too thin that they break apart. Kinda silly you're limited to ordering one order of crawfish per person, as it's just two cooked previously frozen crawfish, not good or special at all. Between the shabu and sushi and all the side dishes, there is a massive variety of food you can order. It took kind of a while after ordering to get the meat, not sure if it's to try to slow you down and not eat at much because it was surprisingly how long it took with the restaurant pretty empty. Overall, I would return, ideally for a cheaper lunch or late night menu as the all day menu was a bit on the pricy side.
