I found this place when I was looking for a Thai spot with good vegan options - 9 Thai absolutely nailed it!! They offer vegan meat alternatives and are so good about modifying anything to make it vegan :) My fav dish is the Pad Kee Mao w/tofu (no egg); the food is seriously AMAZING! It's very fresh, and they're true to their spice levels! I always order a spice level 8 when I go anywhere, and 9 Thai is the only one that consistently delivers the spice I'm looking for. The portions are also really good sized. My boyfriend is pretty picky when it comes to food, and he also loves this place. 9 Thai is absolutely one of my favorite Thai spots in town - I'm so glad I found them a few months ago!! P.S. I've tried a lot of Thai places, and this is the most consistent and tasty place I've always stuck to. Whenever I want takeout or eat in, it's always good and a place I go since it's near my home. I think they're understaffed, but the waitress/host (maybe helps out in the kitchen) is friendly and compliments to the chef! Not busy environment. I recommend their Yellow Curry and papaya salad. This is a very small place but it packs a big punch! I have been waiting to try this place and decided today was the day. I went with my mom and wee were seated right away. We checked over the menu and we were quickly approached to get our order. We ordered the Chicken Satay for an appetizer, Veggies with Salmon, and Chicken Pad Thai. It was pretty quick to come out. The Pad Thai and Chicken Satay were both amazing, the Salmon and veggies were plain but still good. The restaurant is clean, service is fast and friendly and the best part, the food tastes great! You can't beat the location. Conveniently located on the corner of Durango and Desert Inn. They offer takeout and delivery. We often order from Postmates. They have always sent the food early and in quality containers (those of us that order delivery know how important this is). We've tried most items on their menu and have not been disappointed. The Pad Thai, basil chicken and pineapple fried rice are what we keep going back for. The massaman curry is also really good. Geez, the Thai egg rolls and broccoli and chicken are killer too! Oh snap! Guess what's for dinner tonight!!!???? Went with the Beef Pad Thai lol per usual, 8/10 in spice, wasn't too hot. I could definitely go for a 10/10 next time. The noodles were lightly drenched in more of a smoky & tangy tamarind sauce. Less on the sweeter side than I'd prefer but it works for me. Seating looks a little tenuous, the venue is a cute small size. I was craving on green curry on Friday night after the long week, I decided to pick up Thai Food. I ordered green curry and papaya salad and brought them home. Both dishes are delicious!! Actually this was the best Thai Food I've ever had. Everything was just right, sweetness and spiciness. They still are not open for dinning-in, only pick up is available. Just placed my order over the phone call, and wait outside by the entrance. It was very easy and quick process! After living here for 4 years, I had not really found what I consider a go-to Thai place here in Las Vegas. But I believe my search has come to an end. I ordered take out from 9 Thai, and damn did it hit the spot! Everything was well packaged, from massaman curry, wonton soup, to Thai Donuts. The food was excellent. The egg rolls and spare ribs were delicious, and my chicken massaman curry was quite good, though I will have to ask for some more heat next time around. For dessert, the Thai Donuts were awesome. Light and fluffy with a slight crisp, and the condensed milk dipping sauce was great. Portions are well sized, and overall we were very pleased. I will definitely be ordering again. read more

The interior lighting is so bad that you can barely read the menu and doesn't make the experience enjoyable, we ordered two dishes and they came out pretty quick, but the rice portion compare to amount of curry we got was too small. Been coming here for takeout food for a short while now, everything is really great, one of the best crab fried rice I have found, and they also do a wonderful khao soi The tendency is to over spice a little, so I might order one grade less on the spice, and ask for some chili powder on the side! It's been a long time since I had Shrimp Pad Thai! I ordered that with shrimp extra noodles spice level 7. It's probably the best Pad Thai I've ever had. We had 2 orders of pad see ew with chicken , 2 orders soft shell crab salad, 2 orders of fried rice with soft shell crab , won ton soup , sticky rice with mango . I was really craving some thai food. I lived pretty close to this location so I actually just walked to the restaurant. So the restaurant isn't too big; almost a whole in the wall. On the south wall, they have a huge/long chalk board of just cool drawings that were done by the staff. There seems to be a rustic/industrial approach to the decor inside the restaurant, very much so modern. I walked in and the staff was very friendly. I was seated and given their menu. They had quite the variety of items on there menu. I always try the green curry when its my first time at the restaurant. So I order that with a thai tea. It came out with rice. I ordered the spice level of 6 out of 10. I truly enjoyed the dish. It had the perfect combination of sweet/spice/flavor to it. The thai tea also wasn't too sweet. I highly recommend on trying this thai restaurant; Ive eaten at several thai restaurants even in Phoenix and so far 9 Thai has been my favorite here in Las Vegas. :) read more

Let me start by saying that they really have good customer service with a very attentive and friendly staff. However being an absolute Thai Food fanatic, their food is pretty average at best for me. I ordered the Pad Thai with Beef and asked to add Shrimp at an additional cost. I have read a review around here calling it the best in the valley. Needless to say, it did not meet my expectations. I thought it wasn't as flavorful as I hoped it would be. Don't get me wrong, it tasted good but i've had better from other places around the Valley. Also, I think they charged me $2 or $3 for the additional shrimp which is crazy expensive considering I only saw 2 pcs of shrimp in my food and it isn't even the large sized ones. Not to mention, their prices are already in the higher tier for Thai Foods. The chicken wings is sort of the saving grace for me. It was flavorful and it packs a lot of crunch. Dipping it in the sauce totally completes the experience. Also, kudos to the pretty presentation. I would totally order again if I ever come back. Would I be back? Yes, if i'm around the area and i'm craving badly for some Thai. But I definitely won't detour just for a visit. read more

We were here for dinner as their soft shell crab salad and bbq pork rice looked so good. Not many tables were taken at that time. I was always craving for Crab Rangoon so I ordered it, well it's kinda creamy, too much cream cheese. Tom Yum soup was a version that was really different from other places, i guess they uses preserved fish or something like that. At first, when it was hot, it tasted perfect, but after that we felt like it tasted more sour when it was cool down. In a nutshell, if you're a person who must order tom Yum soup whenever you come to a Thai restaurant like me, try this tasty version. Drunken noodle was okay. The only thing I ever order at a Thai restaurant is cashew chicken. This was SLIMY - this was the worst I've ever had. We found this place on yelp. I used to come here a long time ago when it was Lily's Thai. But I'm glad it's a new establishment! There isn't very good Thai places around this area, so I'm happy to know we have a place we can come back to! Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly young lady. We ordered crab ragoons, panang curry, and tom yum; all with seafood. If you read the menu, there are also vegan options which is wonderful! The plating of the food was nice. Simple but nice. As for the flavor, so delicious! My parents used to go to places like Archie's, but man this place is way better!!! The young lady started talking to my daughter, so we asked her if she drew all the art in the restaurant. It's so eye catching! We enjoyed it very much here. Clean, friendly, fast and delicious! The food is great and very fresh tasting. It reminds me of some of my favorite Thai spots in LA and feels like my friend's aunt or grandma is in the kitchen preparing special dishes just for us. I think COVID was difficult for this place, and for many months I was sad because I thought they were closed.
