My husband used 911 tax released about 3 years ago to take care of his tax issues with Federal and State. According to the contract he signed and provided to them, they were suppose to represent him in all tax matters for both Federal and State, however, we received notification from our current state that we now owe triple the amount that was owed when the contract was signed with 911 Tax Relief. To add insult to injury, the representative admitted to us that they, 911 Tax Relief, decided without informing my husband, that they made the decision to not represent him in the matters of state taxed because "the amount was not high enough. When asked why they did not amend the original contract or inform my husband of their decision, we only received more excuses. I gave them 1 star because they at least handled the federal taxes. However, the fact that they admitted their error and still refused to fix the issue has caused us serious issue, not to mention a HEFTY bill now due to our state. read more

Buyer beware!!! I would highly recommend you stay far and clear of this place. I don't even know where to begin. Many of the other reviews state exactly what I went through also. They are you're best friends when it's time to collect your money, then treat you like you're at the DMV when you question anything. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've had with any service in my life. Lack of professionalism from the entire staff. If you conduct any type of professional business, you know the standard unwritten rules and protocols of communicating with your clients, these guys, not so much. After $1800 fee and a year of work, the IRS can still take any Tax Refund from future years. It happened to me. I wasted my money with 911 Tax Relief. Had I known that the IRS could take future refunds even AFTER negotiations, I would've just called the IRS and settled my debt myself. 911 Tax Relief was a HUGE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. 911 Tax Relief did NOT advise me of this condition. Their sales department was more interested in getting my money. They did not protect me whatsoever. They are supposed to be trusted advisors and lawyers, but they do not advise you as to the best actions to take regarding future returns. IF you expect future refunds, it's better to just work it out with the IRS and not deal with 911 Tax Relief. read more

I paid 911 $6,500 over 9 months ago and wait weeks for a response to an email. I had to badger the IRS Agent who was considering our "offer in compromise" and she finally called me today to tell me we were rejected and that she informed 911 Tax Relief on March 12th of that. So after learning of my fate with the IRS, 911 neglected to even give me the courtesy to inform me of such. I have sent several emails to my "contact" at 911, someone named Nayri, and I wait often several weeks for a reply. They WILL NOT speak to you on the phone except when trying to extract $6,500 from you. Their sales team is awesome, everything beyond that is a complete and utter waste of time and money. I am most likely taking them to small claims court in my county. I would NOT recommend them to even an enemy of mine. read more

Initially the process seem easy and would be beneficial, the IRS and FTB were off my back...the tragedy came right about the same time I finished paying 911 Tax Relief the finally payment. I received notification from FTB that my NEW installment agreement was finalized and I my new agreement was for $250.00. I immediately called 911 Tax Relief and sent emails to request them to hold the last payment to 911 Tax Relief or allow me to make payments on the last installment (about $350) because what the FTB was going to charge and IRS would be more than what I had set up on my own. If they took the last payment to 911 Tax Relief, I would not be able to make the installment AND may get kicked out of the agreement with FTB. I was told "...don't worry, they usually do not take the first payment out for 2 months...." Well here we are 3 weeks after the finally payment was processed with 911 Tax Relief, FTB hit my account and I was overdrawn by $200.00 (Ironically the amount I told Tax Relief I would be) Okay bottom line. Make sure your deal with them is satisfactory to your situation before you make that last payment. As with all other substandard companies preying on those who need expertise help...once they get their fees...you are closed out and left to defend yourself.. Unfortunately in this case I paid around $1000.00 to get a worst deal than I had done for myself. PS one other thing, I told 911 Tax Relief that I had received a letter stating IRS was going to change my withholding at work, which would result in my discretionary income being lower. I was told by them (since "They represent me" that was something they did not cover), ...911 commented back.."usually they do not change those decision, but I could give it a try". So I did....got my withholdings changed to what I really could do. So wow, I paid $1K to have an expertise, get me a worst deal than handling it myself.....you make the decision. read more

Hello everyone I just wanted to talk a little bit about the situation I was dealing with and how Tax Relief supported me. :) I had just graduated college last year and was really concerned about all the money I would after after the fact, I got my Bachelors at a really expensive school and needless to say owed THOUSANDS!!!! I first emailed a few businesses regarding how to pay college back and how it would effect my credit and taxes down the road if I was ever late paying them back when my payments are required. I dealt with a very nice young lady that answered all my questions regardless of not necessarily being completely up their alley and something they could totally help me with. Ultimately my experiences showed me that this company cares and has a lot of integrity to support someone that may not even hire them ultimately.
