We called A-1 for a problem with our bottom freezer not defrosting and causing temps in the freezer and fridge to run too high. They were able to quickly diagnose the issue as a faulty MC board and fix the same day. Everything is working great now. A-1 was actually the 2nd repair company we called. The 1st diagnosed a completely different issue that just didnt seem right and their repair was more expensive. Glad we chose to get a 2nd opinion from A-1. read more

Terrible customer service! Jason was RUDE RUDE RUDE.. Please check out the negative reviews all on Jason that are being posted on to the wrong A1 Appliance Repair.. the same company name but in Arlington is getting all Jasons bad reviews! I attached in the pictures. This guy will order parts you don't need to jack up the bill. That's what he did to me. Don't be fooled by the service fee.. they promise to deduct if you agree to service but forced me to pay upfront because the owner told me "people change their minds" You think? So I called the other A1 and had another company to come out just to confirm I was getting ripped off. read more

I also had a bad experience with someone from A-1 He delivered me a washer that makes so much noise you can hear it from a block away and it does not wring out the clothes so you have to dry them for 2 hours. This thing is a piece of junk. When you call him on his so called 60 day guarantee he never answers the phone again. Total loser this guy. I found him on Craigslist buyer beware. read more

A family owned and operated business that treats you right, and never over prices is rare. Every interaction and transaction has been superb. Jason is by far the very best appliance service person I've ever met. Every time we need repairs he preforms above and beyond (plus he is extremely nice and knowledgeable). A1 Appliances (the ORIGINAL one and only, not to be confused with IMITATORS!!!) is the only one I'd contact for our appliance needs. We can not recommend them enough. Our dryer quit working and I tried to use google to repair it myself. Needless to say, that wasn't a great idea and I was not only unable to fix it, I was unable to even put it back together correctly. I called A-1 and they were able to come out fairly quickly, get the repair done, and put together the parts I wasn't able to. He was quick, kept me informed the whole time he was working, and showed me the exactly little booger of a fuse that gave us problems. This is all fantastic, but it didn't stop there... while he was working he happened to notice a piece of jewelry under the washing machine, that he thought at first was toy jewelry of my daughter's. He pulled it out, realized it was in fact a diamond ring, and called me into the room. It was my wife's engagement ring that's been missing for months(and already replaced). He completely made our day!! I'm truly impressed with the honesty the guy showed through the whole process, ESPECIALLY in returning a diamond ring that we never would have noticed missing! totally dis-satisfied with their service. The tech came to the house with a pick up truck with zero parts. He poked around on my refrigerator for a while and didn't have a clue. I told him what i thought it was and he wrote me a illegible work order and charged me $75 dollars. When he was leaving i asked if i did this work which totaled $350 dollars if he thought that would take care of the problem. He answered that he wasn't certain because to be honest he hadn't worked on a Samsung fridge like mine before. He said he was going to reach out to his sources and do some research on it. The company was supposed to call me back that Saturday or Monday or Tuesday but never did. I guess that is what they do when they can't fix something. I Called the office to give them a chance to explain and they said they would ask the tech and call me back. They never called back so i called again and told them that i had no choice but to review them accordingly and they said OK. I had a friend come over and help me change out a $13 dollar temp sensor and the fridge is working perfectly. Don't fall for the $75 service charge that will go back on the repair because their labor and parts will more than make up for what a real technician with a van full of parts will charge you. I gave them almost a week before submitting this review hoping they would reach out to me but once again they never called. I never leave reviews but they didn't even attempt to communicate with me about the situation or say they were sorry that they didn't call back. Total waste of my time and money but i won't make that mistake again. read more

I purchased a good Kenmore washer and dryer set back in 2008. And thought I would go back in 2017 and purchase a washer for my mother. Man..!!! I went into the store and they where unloading the truck and had already put the washer out on the floor. I didn't have it tested because of our past history. I should have..! When I saw the guy touching it up with LIQUID PAPER to cover the scratches that should had been a red flag..!!. The guy delivered to my house and set it up and left. My first wash was like being on a battle field. That WASHER shooked, jerked, rocked side by side and things started falling off the refrigerator. Call back the same day to express my concerns and they started arguing with me and hung the phone up in my face. They called me back the next day to send someone out. Upon looking at the washer they told me my floor was uneven from water damage and the legs on the washer couldn't drop down to level it off..." NEVER HEARD OF SUCH THING.....So now im stuck with a washer that rocks side to side and vibrates where everything falls off the frig. The lady expressed that everything is 30 day warranty . Thought I would call the owner March 2017 to express my concerns and once again she hung the phone up in my face. read more
