Chad really helped us out in a time where everything looked hopeless. He took a risk others wouldn't to help my family member who was arrested. He wrote us a bond, picked them up, and brought them back to South Lake. My family member failed to make their court date. Chad offered to go find them and also suggested waiting them out. He was very upfront and helpful, providing insight on what next steps to expect, how the process of arraignment & bail works, etc. Chad took the time to look up the case info and provide straightforward advice, incl. the option to NOT post bail immediately and wait for the arraignment so bail might be less expensive (something other bail bondsmen wouldn't jump to tell you). A day-and-a-half later the charges were dropped, so we didn't need to get bail arranged and ultimately did not need Chad's services. I recently had gotten arrested and I had never been arrested before. the situation could've been avoided. A-1 bail bonds is the only bail bonds man in Douglas County and the first 2-3 numbers I was given went to A-1. And he was rude to start and he lead me on from the start. My friend had the money to bail me out and he just lead him on. Told story after story while my friend waited. I'll admit I was scared, first time In jail and it was definitely something I never want to go back to. The guy at A-1 bail bonds just made it that much more difficult.
