We definitely liked the chocolate mousse we had for dessert. It's a generous portion and very rich. They took a nice digital photo of us and printed it out and my mother-in-law loved that nice touch. They had sit down dining service as well as to go service. I am not sure if they deliver. If they did that would be amazing! But it was pretty busy which is always a good sign for a restaurant because it means they are doing good business and there is a demand for it. I ended up eating with my eyes and then my stomach because i filled 2 to go containers with a variety/assortment of foods like General Tso's chicken (my favorite), chicken & broccoli, crunchy and flavorful snap peas, crispy wonton noodles, very breaded/fluffy battered chicken tenders, and some vegetable fried rice that i doused in the General Tsao's sauce). So you have to go on an empty stomach and also try not to over indulge or else you will have tummy issues. Chinese food is notorious for having MSG, but I am not sure if they use that there. I will say that they had a pretty decent dessert bar and ice cream selection. The people of Saint Albans are "lucky" to have this restaurant in their midsts. Also parking is pretty ample for those that have vehicles and the restaurant itself seemed pretty clean and well organized. If buffet items got low, they immediately would replenish them. The food was hot and ready to go. A plus was the little keychains being sold at the front at the counter. I had to get a Stitch one because I love the Stitch character. He's so cute ^_^ They also had a Spiderman one and Hello Kitty one so any fans of those characters would be pleasantly surprises and amused to see them being sold there once you check out and pay. The rice was also spot on. Long-grain, perfectly cooked, with each grain holding its own. None of that mushy, stew-like or oatmeal texture--just how rice should be--and the flavor was right where it needed to be. Both chicken dishes were tender and flavorful, with the meat pairing really well with both the coconut-based yellow sauce and the richer red sauce. The samosas had their own distinct character, more in line with the Indian-style samosas than the Pakistani version I'm more accustomed to. Different, but very good! The ambiance was calm and inviting, and the interior was surprisingly nice. But what really topped everything off was the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Their recommendations were spot on, and they clearly knew their menu. If I have to be picky, the music could have been a little quieter. In a restaurant like this, I prefer music at true background volume so you can focus on the food and conversation. But that's a very minor point and certainly didn't take away from the experience. Each were different but were fresh and added incredible uniqueness to the meal. I especially liked the green sauce and the pink pickled peppers. The whole dinner provided two meals. As for service, the person at the door was very warm and helpful with the menu. The inside of the resturant was very welcoming. Next time I'm in town, I look forward to trying their buffet. The lodge has the quintessential Adirondacks log cabin feeling but with an elevated elegance. The grounds are very nice. There are two large outdoor fire pits that are lit every night. Complimentary s'more's supplies are provided for guests every evening. The game room was also really cool and a nice place to relax with friends and family. The room I stayed in was very nice as well. A full kitchen, fire place, and patio. The bathroom had heated floors and a massive soaking tub. I would recommend this place to friends and family!

There is always someone available to bring your bags to and from the room when checking in and out, there is also a valet parking service which we didn't end up utilizing since the parking lot was very close and it was warm however it's nice to have in the winter time. The accommodations were very spacious, we had a big tub, kitchen area which we utilized nightly as we cooked most of our meals with the oven/stovetop. When they come to clean/make the bed they also do the dishes which was very nice. There are lots of amenities including heated pool, bowling alley, pickleball and tennis courts, movie theater, gym, complimentary smores and cookies. We did try one of the two restaurants available on site, Peak 47, which was quite disappointing would advise to venture out into the town for food. However otherwise a great experience/stay, would recommend!
