My first two drive times so far have been great, Emily down there at A-1 in WJ has made them feel way faster than they were and have made them very enjoyable and I recommend her a raise and to anyone that is doing drive-time with A-1 . read more

Getting a scheduled drive can be hard, especially during the summer. For me, getting my drives done was easy, I scheduled all my drives in march just before it became busy. The instructors are nice and patient of course. Mr.Ling and my other instructor Matthew were nice and I was able to drive somewhat stress free and talked to them throughout my 2 hour drives about non driving related stuff. My tip before scheduling a drive would be to practice driving on roads, unlike a highschool range, they have you get into a car and drive off. I do think if you don't feel confident on the roads you could tell the instructor and they will try their best to accommodate your needs and ease your fears. read more

These guys are an absolute joke! Scheduling is rediculous! Paying for private drives and then getting stuck with an observer without your permission is NOT a good way to operate. Do NOT NOT NOT take lessons from this business! read more

THESE GUYS ARE TERRIBLE. The first thing they tell you is that "this is our busy season" and it takes 8 weeks to get your 3 sessions in. SHOULD HAVE BEEN A RED FLAG. My 17 year old daughter took ONE driving session with some old guy (50's) at the West Jordan location. I say ONE session because it was so difficult to get her on the schedule, we gave up. The instructor didn't even do a complete 1 hr session, it was closer to 45 minutes and I should have stayed in the parking lot and waited because I literally got home and was called back ( I live 4 miles away). To top it off, the driver kept saying that the other instructor was more attractive and that she would like him better... THIS IS MY 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER!!! By the way, this was at night, with a complete stranger and he's saying inappropriate things like that. DON'T USE THES GUYS!!! read more

Horrible communication from the WJ location. Their classes are harder to schedule than getting the hottest ticket in town. And when I called with concerns about this and the timing of completing my child's course, I was told they would help me, but they give preference to those that have been waiting longer and would only help if they see me logged in and trying to get an app. All these issues and the horrible office service, Lead me to believe this was not a six-week course, as they assured me since it was impossible to get an scheduled unless I spent the day waiting and clicking on their calendar when the appointments opened up. They were also not very upfront about not having evening or Saturday appointments like they assured they had. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Do NOT NOT NOT take your driving classes from this school! It is impossible to schedule road lessons. The online classwork goes smoothly and you think all is well. But then to complete the course, you need three road lessons with the instructor. These are impossible to schedule. Their process for this is TERRIBLE! You can't just schedule the next available date. I would be happy if the next date was even two months away, thats less time than we have been waiting, trying to schedule a drive anyway! We have been trying to schedule a drive since June. It is now nearly October. I have asked for a refund which I was denied. I asked to just be put on the schedule for a drive time which I was denied. Why do they not put students on a schedule based on when they complete their online courses?! Ok, you've completed your courses, we will schedule your road lessons over the next two to three weeks...What they do doesn't make sense. They are either dishonest, or an incompetent company. Fast, easy and very friendly staff. When speaking to the lady in the office she was amazing and more than helpful with anything I needed and especially all my many questions. Also, Carl at the West Jordan location was the instructor in the class room and on the road. He was so helpful with my daughter, he made parallel parking seem easy to her. If you schedule drives I can't speak as to the other instructors but I highly recommend you try to schedule them with him!! Thanks for everything! read more

I'm very happy with the education my son received through this school. The online scheduling made it easy to get his drive and observation times scheduled. I also liked that they made sure he learned how to drive in the canyons and downtown-- places the high school driver's ed won't go. The student is behind the wheel for the entire 2 hour drive time unlike the school driver's ed where they trade off with other students. Bottom line, it's much better preparation than our high school program. read more

Called the office manager, Brian, to offer feedback after my first and only driving lesson through this school. He was repeatedly impatient and cutting me off, becoming increasingly hostile and verbally abusive. Said I was talking "like an idiot", insisted I "get to the point" very early on, and insisted that I should have called with feedback more immediately repeatedly, though I articulated why I didn't call back right away. And it was only 2 weeks later. The Holladay instructor, Ron I believe his name is, was not communicative and I didn't feel safe while on the road. But Brian was temperamental, hostile, and made the whole experience much more painful, with personal insults to boot. I never called him any name, and to be told in a loud voice that you are "like an idiot" is never a good experience. I advise anyone to look to other driving schools. read more
