I've used this place many times in the past. $15 for a test. There's a place nearby which advertises $12 but it never seems to be open. Probably one of the cheapest places in the area (other places charge around $19 and up and when I've called them they have a 30 minute plus wait). When I have gone here on a weekday, there is little to no wait. Last time I went was about 11AM on a Saturday and there were 3 cars in front of me and the total wait time was around 10-15 minutes. read more

A bit of a drive to get to, but totally worth it. The owner, Urvin, is the nicest guy and he had my car out in about 4 minutes. No wait (and it was Saturday afternoon!), and only $15.00 - very pleasant experience, overall. Note: If coming from Boggs Road/Old Norcross, pass a few other emissions stations (located at gas stations) and you'll see The Herrington Shopping Center on your left. I found this place because the emissions place that I usually go to across the street was closed. Luckily only a few feet down the road was A1 Emissions. It is an actual brick and mortar place at the end of a shopping strip with a real sign, not one of those janky places that look like a shed with handwritten signs. I drove in and immediately the owner greeted me and let me know I could stay in my car if I would like, which I did. He plugged my car in, did his thing, and everything was done in less than five minutes, and best of all, it was only $14.99! I gave him a 20 and let him keep the change because he was so polite, professional, and quick. They do accept cards, but with an extra charge of $1.00. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a quick and cheap emissions test for sure! read more

Fast, friendly, cheap and reliable @ 14.99 and under 10 minutes. The owner runs the business and is very informative and friendly. There was one car ahead of me that he was finishing up when he came to my window to introduce himself and give me his flier (with the infamous Brusters coupon.) He made sure to let me know that today was a randomly selected day to do extra testing for the EPA to gather information, and that his normal wait time of 4 MINUTES would be closer to 15 (even though he was done in 10.) I read all these amazing reviews before i went, and honestly i was just looking for somewhere quick and cheap, but this ended up being the highlight of my day! I had been going here for 6 years and the owner is wonderful. He is courteous, professional and polite. The only reason I haven't gone to him this year was because I got a new car and emissions aren't required on new cars for a couple of years. Once I'm required to start getting emissions done on my new car, I will start coming here again. This is the only place I will consider for emissions testing unless I completely move out of the city.
