Horrible company. The woman that came out to do the estimate was incredibly incompetent and had no clue about fencing. We were only looking for a small, easy fencing job to be done. We got no estimate and even after calling them after two weeks they still never gave us an estimate nor a call back. How they stay in business by treating potential customers this way is beyond me. read more

We checked out several fence companies prior to choosing A-1 Fence. Our estimate was very close to the others, however the sales agent, Tara, explained their processes from beginning to end. They are a family owned business and obviously take pride in their work. From the day we gave them our down payment, we were advised that the schedule was approximately a one month wait. Wenda from the office kept in contact frequently and they started right on time. Our installers, Danny and Andros were very professional, polite and extremely hard working young men. It was over 95 degrees and they worked hard and fast to complete our job in less then 2 days. One of the owners, Eric, was on the job both days which shows serious pride in the business. I am retired from the home building business after 44 years and was very impressed with how this business is run. They truly care! The fence is beautiful, straight and well installed. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I cannot stress enough. From the time of the sales woman came out I was not impressed. She started by taking the other sales quote away from me and began to insult the other company. Very unprofessional. My mistake was going with this company because they came in just under the other fencing company with the additional promise of a "lifetime warranty on everything". Are year later I have A broken gate from a defect. I've called three times over the last month and had to threatening writing bad reviews to get someone finally at my house to look at the warranty claim. The woman who answered the phone said that this in fact was a warranty claim and assured me that it would be taken care of. A representative of this company came out told me that I broke my fence and started creating false scenarios to tell me how I broke my fence. He informed me that they were not going to do anything about it because there is no such thing as a lifetime warranty and I made that part up. As of right now my fence is falling apart and this wonderful fence cost me $6000. read more

This company did a horrible job in installing our fence and gates. Wood was warped, cracked and gates didn't align. Can't get them to come back to correct the shoddy work and they don't respond to phone calls. It's been three months now and I'm still waiting ... they promise to come out but don't show up. Save yourself money and aggravation and choose a different company for your fencing needs. read more
