I understand that after a certain amount of time, the circumstances might have changed, but refusing to go back out and verify that without another payment is absurd. Once I told them that I was ready to go, I had to wait another month before they finally told me that it would cost me another $100 to get them out there to verify the original bid, and they had no documentation of the bid other than some scribbled notes from the first visit. Go elsewhere. These folks aren't worth your time or money.

Not anymore, power as it were, now rests in the hands of the people. I needed 3 things; A dumpster rental, a quote and information regarding getting said dumpster to my house. So I turned to Yelp and used the quote system and at the ended up with about four quotes. But I had many questions, and Danny was very quick on the response, quoted me a fair price and allowed the dumpster rental for 20 days which was a BIG plus for me. Did I mention he answered my questions promptly? Look, I have dealt with the murky depths of contractors and callbacks...not a good time. Danny shattered my expectations and what's more, on the day of the delivery I had to check status of the dumpster due to working from home that day and having to be on a conference call I could not leave. Danny got back to me in minutes, contacted the driver and had the driver quote me an updated delivery time which I was able to coordinate with my schedule. Imagine that? Working with MY schedule...Great Job Danny. Bottom line, call Danny and see what I mean. I have some floor work coming my way in the future, guess who just put himself at the top of that list? 5STARS!!!

We had a slab leak that had to be repaired and…read morererouted through our ceiling, and in the midst of that we found out we had a leaky shower pan and a LOT of water damage. Danny came out and gave me a quote that was detailed, fair and easy to understand. We ended up having to rip out most of our master bath. (The shower floor, half way up the shower walls and an entire wall down to the studs.) I also had a few other projects around the house that I kept adding on, and Danny never minded and always reworked the over all costs for us. They patched the sheetrock in the ceiling and a 6 other places in the walls, completely re-sheetrocked one wall, demo'd our shower, finally sloped the shower floor correctly (it never drained properly before!), matched the tile/grout seamlessly, installed a new vanity, reinstalled a vanity in the guest bath correctly, fixed my back door, built a banister and took an old nasty crawl space under the stairs and helped me turn it into a "hidey hole" for my son. Having a one year old and going through a home renovation like this was stressful. Danny and his guys made it so much easier. They talked to my kid, waved at him, kept their work space as clean as they could during a demo..They were even respectful of nap times! We have to redo our siding on our house soon and Danny is the only one I will be contacting. No other quotes needed.

I am writing this in hopes that no one else will make the mistake I made in hiring Steve. When I…read morehired him he was great, he came out quickly gave me a very reasonable bid and started quickly with a lead time of 4 weeks. As the time went on 4 weeks ended up turning in to 8 weeks. I also noticed a lot of things were not up to par and a lot of things were crooked such as our front door, kitchen handles, cabinet trim/crown, built in book shelves etc. I had a final dead line that I reiterated multiple times since we needed to get our house on the market. When it got about 2 weeks till that dead line he decided to not show up or call. 2 days later I reached out to him by messenger because he said his phone was broken, he apologized and said he would show up the next day. Well that day came and went with no word from him, I sent him multiple message that week and got no response. I also reached out to his helper who lives on the same property, I could see he read my message but again no response. During the weekend I reached out to his wife and said he needed to show up by 9:30am Monday, sure enough 9:15 he shows up and he apologized once again. He worked part day Monday and Tuesday then he was back to his old ways of not showing up and not communicating with me. I yet again sent multiple messages and emails but got nothing from him. I left him a note that Monday that if he showed up that he was off the job and needed to contact me to give me my money back that I paid him. He preceded to trespass and go in our back yard taking his tools and again not getting in touch with me. It's been almost 2 weeks since I last talked to him. I can't tell you how disrespectful it is to not let your client know what is going on and why you abandoned the job. I am an interior design so I know this field and I have always stood my ground and will never pay more then 50% until the work is done. I'm mad at my self for paying him everything before it was done. I paid him 50% up front but after he passed his 4week lead time he asked me for a little at a time and even made me feel guilty. I did trust him that he would finish, I was going into this seeing if he could work out as someone I could use on client jobs in the future. Well he blew that one big time and now he owes me 4K. I would steer clear of using him unless you want shitty work and him just walking off the job with no communication.
