That's why I booked a Brazilian with Piper, who had the most reviews and came highly recommended. When I arrived, however, I was switched to a different technician without being told in advance. Unfortunately, the service was not done properly. Multiple areas were missed, the technique was rough (including re-waxing the same sensitive area), and I left with significant irritation and bumps. I'm 15 weeks pregnant, and I had chosen this spa specifically because I wanted to feel safe and confident in the provider's experience. I reached out afterward and was offered a "touch-up," but with the irritation I experienced, it didn't feel safe to continue. This was not the level of care or professionalism I expected, and I'm really disappointed given the spa's previous reputation.

I have had numerous "pulsed light" procedures to remove dark spots and sun damage on my face, and have experienced very visible results. Many people comment on my skin and are surprised to hear that I am in my 40's. :) I have also had laser treatments to remove unwanted spider veins on my legs. The treatments improved things so much that I was able to wear shorts in public for the first time in 7 years. That was quite a gift to me and felt very freeing. I will also add that the cost of these treatments are very affordable and doable, with very little down time after a treatment. I highly recommend this business and the sevices that they offer.
