I rented a helium tank from Kim to fill Mylar and latex balloons for my daughter's birthday party. Working with Kim is a stellar experience, she really goes above and beyond for her clients. Very unprofessional! Be careful booking her! She was hired to decorate for a 60 birthday celebration. Gave her all the banners and balloons and discussed the ideas of how to decorate. When the day for her to decorate came, all she did was blow balloons. Didn't put up any banners and after she took our money, she didn't answer any of our calls as to why she didn't finish decorating. When confronted about it she said "it's not what we paid for". We used A-1 Party for the balloons for our corporate event last week and the bouquets turned out super cute and the women were very friendly. It was kind of a cluster of confusion when they delivered. One would think that a company that makes and delivers balloons as their business would know how to do just that. They called on their way asking where to park and I gave them DETAILED instructions. It became a big deal and they had to park in our buildings loading dock and had to borrow our dolly and said that the balloons couldn't be outside for the transit from the van to our lobby because they would explode. Shouldn't that come up when I place the order for a high rise building? And shouldn't they have a dolly? And shouldn't they understand that the day of a huge event is stressful enough for the planner without having to deal with extras like that? read more
