My husband was there Saturday and bought the special ribeyes, 10 for 85.00, Worst steaks i have had. I am too embarrassed to serve to company, 4 of them are paper thin, 0ne of them is a 1 inch at the top and 1/8 of a inch at the bottom, 4 of them look ok, one i think is not a rib eye. A great selection of unique meats and great marinated staples. We came here looking for goat for birria, and were happy to find reasonably price bone-in cubed meat. It was fresh, and delicious! If you like chicken, this is the place to go. They are an Indian butcher shop who specializes in marinated and flavored meat. They'll offer you curry and masala in either mild or burn you butt hair hot. It's no joke. Satinder is the guy behind the counter. He's so nice and not cheap. He likes to create a relationship with all his customers and does a good job doing it. I took a chance and ordered the hottest chicken I could find. Satinder gave me a cock eyed glance and shook his finger at me. "You sure you want to do this?" he said in his thick Indian tone. I shrugged. "yeah. Why not?" Still cock eyed. "You sure?" "yeah. It was suggested to me to check out A&A meats in poco for quality and value. I live in maple ridge so I was reluctant as we have plenty of meat shops here. But my parents drive all the way from Abbotsford to go here and I recently heard two other friends boasting about this place. So yesterday we went in and got 20 steaks and 10lbs of chicken for under $140 the prices are unreal for excellent quality meats. Not to mention the smell when you walk in is like no other meat shop it makes you want samples lol. It smells so good and the place it super clean, very fast and super friendly, also bought some of their marinated chicken the tandoori mild and the garlic wings, so good! It is so hard to find any business that gives a sh*t about what they offer now a days but I believe I have found my new meat shop. Hats off to caring about what you offer. read more

After reading the last review, I am going to try the super hot curry chicken. I agree, the owner/guy behind the counter (I did not know his name) is really friendly and gives a good bargain. I've gotten lamb and chicken and both have been fresh and good quality. I also get him to cut large beef bones for my dog - WAY more affordable than the pet store!! He knows my vehicle when I pull up, so he gets the bones ready for me. read more

New to the neighbourhood, I tried A&A for the first time yesterday, purchasing their 10 rib-eye steaks for $55. Excellent steaks, and courteous, friendly staff. I was fascinated by the aroma in the shop, and by the many marinated meats offered. It's going to be fun to try them all! read more

East Indian butcher eh? I found out about this shop through a friend. They bought tandoori chicken from here and it was fantastic. So I decided to go back for more and it was relatively cheap. They also sell different type if chickens marinated in other sauces. I bought some steaks from there as well but I was unable to marinade the ethic smells from the meat. I have found Satinder and his team to be ultra respectful, courteous and above all, a great source of knowledge about which cuts to use, how much to get, recipe ideas, and the like. They are well known for their tandoori chicken, and they earn that reputation.
