Unlike going to the bigger home depots (where I tend to get overwhelmed with things), I know that when I go to Quarry Bay, I can simply get what I need for a reasonable price. They have almost anything and everything from carpentry materials to tools to plumbing items. We just recently bought bags of sand, cement, some angle bars and steel matting from them for our mini-project at home. They even have paints, drilling machines and light bulbs. The only downside here is that their store is very cramped and quite warm, but then again, it's not like you'll spend hours there anyway. You get what you need and you're out. They're still the most reliable nearby hardware store for me. I have never gone out of there empty handed.

Or even if I did have one, putting on a new plastic container of water can be a challenge for people like me who have bad lower backs. Aquaronz also has a free delivery service. I always appreciated how the people at the place are easy to talk to. During the times that I end up going home late and forget to call-in for a refill earlier in the day, Aquaronz is still useful because it also supplies the next door convenience store with its brand of bottled water.

Besides the store itself, parking and getting to Hypermarket is much easier than fighting your way to Megamall.

Our architect was more than willing to help us out in purchasing what we need. He suggested that we go to his "Suki" store and ended up here. For me, I wanted to go somewhere where I go buy everything at a very reasonable price. Plus, we were recommended to go here because our architect has a membership card! 5% off is still a good discount! The warehouse is fairly small compared to the ones in Pasig. But, the selection they have are the reliable brands that come with a good price tag. However, they didn't have some brands that I wanted to buy. A bit inconvenient but I plan to just go to the main branch for other items. The one thing I didn't like was that, when we needed help, it took quite awhile for any staff to help us. Only when they noticed that we were buying in bulk that they started to eagerly help out. When their staff did start helping us, they provided useful, informed, and practical advise on which product to buy. In the end, we bought 3 sets of toilets and sinks, 2 sets of showers, my kitchen sink and other fixtures! After adding it all up with the 5% discount, we were ready to pay. Then, the manager approached us and offered that we pay Cash on Delivery. Whut?! That is unheard of but, of course, we accepted! This shopping trip really got me excited for the next few weeks! :D

Hindi rin naman sobrang layo ang deperensiya sa mga presyo ng bilihin. Mayroon pa ditong mga empleyado na mag-aassist sayo at matutulungan ka sa mga kailangan mo, lalo na kung wala ka masyadong alam sa construction. Isa pa sa gusto ko sa Wilcon ay mayroon sila ditong satellite cafe na nagbebenta ng masasarap na cake, pasta at crocodile meat! Tuwing nandito kami ng nanay ko, doon ako lagi nakatambay.
