I was rear ended in November and had a few recommendations to bring my Tahoe here for the repairs from being hit. And when I say they are top notch!!! They not only did an amazing job on the work, but they kept me informed and communicated with me every step of the way, and sent text messages and called me if needed. I had a concern about the frame of the vehicle, and they didn't push me off and made sure to check it out. They went over things and paid such close attention to detail, details I would not have ever thought of. To top it all off, they cleaned the inside of my car! If I could give a 0, I would. Here is the story. To Whom it may concern, You need to be aware of this. The work you did today was extremely poor. The job was to adhere a new piece of self-adhering trim to the hood of my car. A very simple job. This was the third try even. The other two times didn't work because someone bent the original trim when they initially removed it to paint the hood that was damaged.  And because of that, it kept popping off at the tip. Fair enough. I get that happening. But the job today was to install the new trim piece and finish the issue. I should have checked it was done properly before I left your shop, but I trusted that it would be a slam dunk. It did not turn out to be that. It turned out it was not done properly and the tip of the trim (the spot that was popping up) was still not adhered to the hood. I texted this after hours on your website and got a response. The employee insisted everything was done according to the instructions and there was nothing else they could do. I checked the trim closely and noticed the problem. The plastic backer film that protects the adhesive side of the trim was not removed at the precise location of the trim popping up - the tip. It could never stick to the hood because of this fact. But the employee insisted they checked and that was that. That's all they could do. Luckily, I am better at this job and managed to fix it myself by removing the film and clamping the trim to the hood. To make matters worse, when the hood was painted back in October, someone got a fat spot of paint on the headlamp cover. I mentioned to please remove the paint when I dropped the car off, but it wasn't done when I came to pick it up. I had to request it again. So here is the real problem for you to think about. There seems to be a serious lack of quality assurance / quality control at your shop. Obviously, the job today was not checked properly when it was finished. Obviously, the initial paint job was not checked for paint strays either. If you don't address this, I predict a bunch more dissatisfied customers in your future. Update 1 day later....(4-01-22) the very next day after I posted this review and emailed them this same message, my car was vandalized in the same way it was before I took it to their shop. Coincidence? Not a chance. The employee who did the shoddy work probably got chewed out and he decided to retaliate. They have my address. They know how the car was damaged in September. Be very cautious dealing with A&M. They have at least one un-hinged employee. Could be a Mafia connection. I filed a police report but can't prove it. I am buying a dash cam. Maybe get a restraining order. This shop isn't worth anyone's time and effort. It might get you killed. read more

Unfortunately I had been referred to A&M by multiple people with lots of great stories but both times I have called in trying to get my claim sorted out it has been less that ideal. I have spoken with Julie twice now and as this is my first time ever needing collision service I have no experience with this and I was beyond less than impressed. She talked down to me and was extremely rude and condescending and treated me like I should know everything about this process. She just kept asking me over and over "what don't you understand?". As a manager myself this is not behavior I would tolerate in my place of business, especially for a front end/customer facing position. It's unfortunate that the first person you speak to at A&M would treat people this way but it has pushed me away from this shop and I will be taking my business elsewhere and I will be telling my state farm agent the same thing. I'm extremely detail-oriented and upon inspection found my car to be flawlessly repaired and thoroughly cleaned. My mother was in an accident a few weeks ago, like 5 cars piled up because the idiot at the end of the line was likely texting and driving, so she rear ended the person in front of her, and it became a chain reaction. So we needed to have the car repaired. Luckily mom's car didn't sustain much damage because of where she was in the line of cars. Mom originally took the car in for the estimate herself. Now, it's hard to impress a cranky old lady. But they managed to do so here. She took it to two body shops, within a block of each other. She told me she felt welcomed here. They were thorough and honest in their estimate. They were super respectful to her (she can come across as a bitch without meaning to quite often) and i was impressed by that. It's rare she does big things like this on her own due to her age and health problems, so it's pretty impressive when she comes home and says they actually helped me. So we schedule the car to go in, and I take her. It was supposed to be done on Wednesday, late in the day. Mom typically has chemo treatments on Wednesday each week, so we weren't sure if that would get in the way of picking up the car. They said it could be picked up Thursday morning if needed. They gave us a loaner car free of charge, which was very helpful. I wasn't a fan of the loaner car, but like most people, I hate change and anything different. But it was a courtesy they offered, so I really can't complain. They preformed the work, I went to pick up the car late Thursday afternoon. Mom was in the hospital at this point, so they got to deal with my brother and me instead of mom. They were perfectly fine with me keeping the loaner car an entire extra day (it was almost 5 by the time I made it in because of mom being in the hospital), and my brother paying them with a credit card over the phone. I inspected our car before I went in to sign for it. I was very interested in the paint job, if they had blended it appropriately, or if it was obvious it was redone after being in a wreck. I've seen bad paint jobs before where they don't match it, so I was watching for it. I would be the person who makes them do it over until it's right. I looked at it from every possible angle, multiple lights, etc. I couldn't find anything to tell me it was in a wreck. They did a wonderful job. I still look at it and I'm impressed. I check it periodically, thinking I'll see something I missed when I picked it up. Nope, the bumper lines up perfectly, it's paint matched, and beautiful. I can't even find the tiniest reason to complain or nit-pick their work. I subsequently took it in a few days later for a completely unrelated estimate for a paint bubble/chip. The guy I talked to and dealt with (I wish I had paid attention to his name) was great. What really stood out to me was he remembered mom and I from the previous week. He asked if he'd heard correctly that she was doing chemo treatments and how she was doing. I told him a little about her, but this wasn't even something we discussed with him previously. He simply overheard her and I discussing her Wednesday treatment and he remembered it. It's pretty rare someone remembers random stuff like that, or even cares enough to mention it and ask how she's doing. Would I go back here for more work? Absolutely! I honestly can't say enough great things about this place. They treated my mother incredibly well, which is worth 5 stars alone. They worked with us keeping the car an extra day and my brother paying over the phone because mom was in the hospital. The quality of their work is impeccable. I had been shopping around for quotes on a small out of pocket repair my car needed. I pull up to this place and the parking out front is a little weird but there is a large sign that says estimates with a graded curb that leads up to it. Still feels a little weird but I park there and go on in. The person behind the counter -let's call him "Newh Yahwk Vinnie" due to his charming personality and over-the-top affectation. He struck me as the kind of guy who has "pine cone lingerie" as his top Porn Hub search. I don't know if that means pine cones wearing lingerie or folks wearing lingerie made from pine cones, I'm sure either will do for Ole Vinnie. Basically he's the kind of guy who would show up to a funeral wearing a 6XXL Patriots jersey and if you looked at him wrong he'd say "Hey! I'm mournin heah!!" I look at him and say "hey is it okay if I park there, I'm looking for an estimate". At this point the dial tone between Vinny's ears ramps up to 2400 baud AOL speed and he chooses to say the following: "Well I guess if you're looking to buy the place you can pahk anywhere you want." Followed by something else clever and witty but my brain was already filtering him out of my reality so I missed the rest of the sweet burn. At any rate, this town is full of body shops. I showed up on time for my estimate checked in, then when it came time for the estimate a guy came from the back and was completely rude as can be, pretty much forced me out of the office. I left and parked in a parking lot and called the shop and asked to speak with the owner, turns out the rude guy was the owner and went off completely. I think he may or may not be on drugs from his actions. Steer very clear of A&M worst customer service in Eugene, can't believe people act like that read more

These guys are awesome! My wife and I were coming to town from Idaho. And our car had an auto body issue with a plastic cover piece rubbing the axle. They took care of us immediately to help us get back on the road. You can tell everyone here cares about just helping people the best they can. I managed to damage my own truck and thought I could just keep driving but the bumper was grinding into the tire when I tried to back it up. Came by for an estimate and within 10 minutes they had pulled out the bumper and sent me down the road with a smile. My experience at A & M was one of the best auto body experiences I have encountered. My brush guard was damaged and I came in for an estimate and left thinking I could fix it myself. Turns out I could not, and called them the next morning and told them of my situation and they told me to stop in again. They took off my brush guard quickly and were extremely helpful and kind! The work they did on my Tundra was fine but CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE. The damage that needed to be repaired was very minimal. They originally told me 4-5 days which seemed reasonable but they ended up having the truck for 3 WEEKS. They decided they couldn't repair the quarter panel. They decided to replace it which really wasn't necessary for the very small damage. They just created a bigger job so they could get more money from the insurance company and they lied to me all along the way. Meanwhile, I was riding my bike 8 miles each way to work. And, it wasn't until they were almost done that they told me they wouldn't install the after market bumper we ordered even though I discussed it with them at the time of the estimate. read more

the worst experience you could think of - I was involved in a hit and run where my truck was clipped from behind causes 2 herniated disks on Jan 7 2024 - was scheduled an appointment for Jan 17 then was rescheduled 4 more times before I had enough and asked them to honor my appointment which Joey refused and told me I could reschedule again if I wanted my vehicle repaired - today is Mar 28 2024 when he told me this with no regard for the inconveniences of the previous 4 cancelled appointments that affected my work and personal schedule with my daughter (single parent dad) The recovery of my injuries is complete while my truck is still wrecked and I was given attitude when I said a reschedule was unacceptable - I would not recommend this company to anyone based off the poor treatment and business practices and the attitude of Joey. do yourself a favor and find a different auto body shop to work with. read more

In the four years I've owned my Honda Accord, I've had two occasions to get some body work done. The first was after I stupidly hit a post at a car wash, putting a huge dent in my front bumper and scraping off the paint. At the time, I really didn't want to pay $600+ to fix it. The guys at A & M were able to pop out the dent and touch up the paint, and did it for less than $60. It doesn't look perfect, but it looks good enough, and the touch up paint job has lasted quite well. The second was after I was rear-ended (by an uninsured driver, of course). The rear bumper had to be replaced, which meant the car was in the shop for two days. A & M has free loaner cars available, which was a huge plus. Yeah, it was rough driving a Ford Contour for two days, but it was better than nothing. My car was done on time, they vacuumed it, and the bumper looks great! They were able to handle everything with my insurance company, and it really was a breeze. I've recommended A & M to those I know who need auto body work done. And when I am ready to repair that front bumper, I'll go back. read more

We took our Subaru there after someone on a cell phone crashed into us at a stop. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, especially our interactions with Aya at the front desk and Isidoro Godinez our consultant and the car was not only expertly repaired but returned totally cleaned and beautiful inside and out. The front of my car was damaged in a weird collision, they got the hood, grill, headlights, and bumper all in and looking great. What they didn't get great was the hood gap, didn't sand the clear on the fenders and blend the paint, refuse to fix the weird rattle I now have in my suspension air compressor, and some other weird suspension rattle. None of the noises were there prior to the collision. Called and talked to multiple people and they tell me that the suspension and air compressor was something that they didn't touch during the body work, and not their problem. Sorry, but the entire car gets affected in a collision, and again those noises weren't there prior to the collision. The only solution they have had was to take it to a different shop and hope the insurance will pay me back. Their customer service is horrible, and looking back at the lack of quality on the work they did I definitely do not recommend them to anyone. read more

I had some minor collision repair done here many years ago and had a good experience with the results and the customer service. So when I had a minor mishap that resulted in the side of my fender being offset to the point that I could not open and close the passenger door, I found myself back at A & M to get an estimate for the repair. Got bigger tires on my suburban and the dented fender rubbed pretty hard when the wheel was turned. I called around to see how much auto body places were going to charge to fix it (very limited budget), and most were going to charge just to look at it. I called A & M and asked how much they would charge to bend the damaged fender back and they told me to just swing by to take a look. One of the workers came outside to take a look and went back inside and got a tool. He bent the fender perfectly, and my tires haven't rubbed since. I was hoping the bill wasn't going to be too bad, but they didn't even charge! They really helped me out 30 mins before they close when everyone is wanting to go home. After they were done, I wanted to get a quote on how much they would charge to replace the entire fender, and it's a huge fender. But their quote was several hundred dollars cheaper than other places in town. I will definitely be returning for all my auto body service. This is what I call a neighborhood business. read more

The bill they gave was for $1000 for a scratch that spanned 2 doors. They did great work but $1000 for a keyed car where the scratch spans 2 doors? Seems very very much on the high side. I really doubt it took anyone near 15 hours of labor to repair 1 scratch. At $40 an hour these prices really add up. read more

Called to ask if they could put decals on my 2005 mustang hood scoop and add some after market stripes. And the person, a man. Was very rude. Would give me the time of day. A&M couldn't do a better job on all counts: quality work, helpful staff, terrific communication including text updates, extra attention including arranging car rental, thorough cleaning of the whole car.
