Banging night out. Banging night in (a&ws). CHICKKY chikky boom boom hell yea this was fire. No complaints. Service was impeccable and food slapped my taste buds heavy. Ambiance was peaceful in the dark of night and I WILL be returning. Thank u a&w, I love root beer.

This actually used to be Cheesecake Factory, and I was quite disappointed to see the change at the time. But now I don't mind it at all! The service has definitely seen some up and downs here, especially late at night when everybody is so tired, but the food has always been good and the tables clean. A nice alternative to McDonalds and Burger Kings. I love the 24h breakfast, and their cupboard of frosty root beer glasses *almost* makes me forget I dislike that drink (no one will ever convince me it's not liquid toothpaste!!).

It is always a treat to be able to go to an A&W store. I ordered chedar bacon burger large with fries. Of course, how do you go to an A&W store and not order root beer. They even have a veggie burger on the menu. All things great. Bon Apetit.

I don't often go to A&W fast food restaurants but stopped off here for lunch since I was close by and felt like a root beer. The place is accessible outside and if you know where you are going in the underground city, you can get to this place from the McGill metro station without going outside (in case of bad weather). The place has free WiFi although it wasn't working properly for my phone during my visit (after connecting, it tried to load up the browser page which I'm assuming is a terms of usage page but never managed to open it up). If you are paying by credit card, they have an automated terminal that you can use to place your own order. I opted for one of their trios (burger, fries, and a drink). The burgers are okay. I am not crazy about A&W fries. They charge extra for onion rings (as opposed to Burger King and Harvey's which charge the same price for fries and onion rings. For the drink, I had diet A&W root beer which you can't get in any other fast food restaurant. If eating inside, you get the drink if a chilled mug with no ice which is good since most people like a cold drink but don't want the extra ice to water down the drink. Only thing which would make this better is if they allowed for free refills similar to McDonalds and some other fast food restaurants. They do offer the occasional coupons. Without coupons, my trio (which I believe was one of the least expensive trios) came to around $11.32 so a bit more expensive than what I would normally order at McDonalds.

Beyond meat burger is yummy, thanks A&W for the vegetarian option! love the fries too. Leave off the cheese and mayo if you're vegan

Thus far, I have had inconsistent experiences with this particular A&W. My first visit was unremarkable, and I mean this as a relatively positive thing. It was exactly as I expected, the food tasted like A&W food should and the service was reasonably polite and quick. My visit for breakfast this morning was also satisfactory. The egg on my English muffin tasted very fresh and looked much more natural than the round or square pucks i'v had at other places. The hash brown was a little oily, but not too salty, and the coffee was *ok* (but not great). My interim visit to this location was quite different. The service, although polite and friendly, seemed slower than it should have been. The counter person seemed a little stressed, and they seemed to to be having some trouble communicating in the prep area and pushing out the orders. I also noticed that their pep person did not wear gloves while assembling the order. We also realized once we where 2 blocks away, that the plain burger we ordered was slathered in condiments, despite the prep person being specifically told twice that the burger was to be plain (just the meat and the bun). We turned back to have it replaced. That being said, despite the initial trouble, they apologized, replaced the burger and told my daughter they would give her a free meal next time (although it was a verbal promise... No voucher or anything...)

Their burgers are delicious! Excellent customer service!! The employees look very happy and are very friendly! I love that they are accommodating to vegetarians too. I personally love their chicken burgers they have much more varieties than other places! This is a go-to place for people around the area! Thank you very much team!

We walked in and were immediately approached by a server so we asked to sit by the window. We both ordered a Steerburger with fries and coleslaw. My friend enjoyed hers and I kinda liked mine but the burger wasn't anything like it used to be. I got the impression there was something other than meat mixed in just by the texture. The curly fries were just like we remembered: crispy & light. Staff was friendly and accommodating l, but the initial server who took our orders forgot to tell us he was either going on break or had finished for the day because another server approached us later to take our order! We told her we had already put in our order. She apologized and 10 minutes later our food came out. Oops.

Friendly and funny and great, quick service. Food was terrific, hot chicken sandwich and cajun chicken sandwich. So flavorful and sides of coleslaw and curly fries were great too. My hubby had a nice chat with the owner as well. Don't know when we might get back to Montreal but we will definitely go back here if we do. We haven't even tried the beef!

You can also reserve room if you are a big group. There's also a restaurant with various food that we didn't try. We didn't try the arcade, we ran out of time on our schedule but we will come back. The arcade work with a card where you accumulate point that you can spent on things in the gift shop. Like many arcade, the more token you buy, the cheaper the cost per token is. We took the combo that is 1 game of bowling, 1 game of laser tag and 1 round of mini golf. The bowling is with big balls. There's a little ramp for the kids or those that just need a little help. There's only one though so you have to share it across the 8 alley. The bowling itself is nice, alley are straight and clean. There's a wide range of ball weight that should be ok for everyone. The mini golf here is special. It's not a less put parcours, it's a most point. Point are done in 2 ways. Once you put, there's a 60sec timer. The time left once you enter the cup is bonus point. The other way is through the course. There's special tricks that you can do to earn extra points and even lose some. It's a very nice twist and it was fun. We ended with a game of laser tag. I saw the maximum occupancy is 28 players splitter in 2 or 3 teams. We were 6 and honestly, the room is small. Unless there's some hidden wall that get open for more player, I wouldn't see much more then 10 players. 28 would be over crowded for sure. For us at 6, it was perfect. One thing is the room itself is dangerous. Like many laser tag room, it's dark. The problem is they put some stuff like ramp but without anything to show you the edge or worst, they put some theming. Half of us were hurt by the stage. I myself trip, while walking slowly down one of those ramp where I though it was going in a specific direction but no. I ended up falling face first, scratching my knees and nearly broking my finger. My girlfriend opened her elbow while edging a wall and our friend got some similar stuff happened. Another thing is they don't really explain you anything beside how to shoot. There's a lot of stuff in the room that you can shoot and I never knew if it did anything beside some animation. Like a wall that seems like maybe a forcefield that would maybe disable enemy shield if they walk through? I don't know. The gun had 2 way to shoot, a long laser or a short range scatter shot like a shotgun. Was fun to be able to cycle through mode. We still had fun, but the state was dangerous in my opinion. It is a nice place to have a fun spend money. Kids will love it for sure and grown up too
