At first it went well as I got on with the instructor but quickly they began to cancel lessons, usually on the day of the lesson. After my instructor cancelled 7/10 lessons I decided to ask for a refund for my prepaid lessons. This was several months ago and I still haven't received the lessons or refund. The driving school said as I had paid the instructor directly (as is their policy) they wouldn't refund me... but they are the ones who gave me this instructor and he was recommended via their website. I'm still owed £200 worth of lessons. The experience has left me stressed, out of pocket and having to find a new instructor. 0/10 would not recommend.

Been having lessons with Chris at A2B for several months now - and I genuinely really reccomend…read morethem. A2B got me booked in quickly which was so appreciated. Chis had taken me on as someone who was a nervous inexperienced driver back in late February 2024 and had me driving around (through even heavy traffic and multilane roundabouts!) in no time. He's very patient and explains things really clearly. He's very calm and professional, and has always made me feel safe while I learn. He's very encouraging, and never made me feel silly or embarassed, which has hugely boosted my confidence. Currently practising mock tests, and I'm feeling really great about it. When it comes to driving lessons, you get what you pay for, and I confidently say, you'll get some fantastic lessons here with them. They really do care. I also found 90 minutes to be a perfect lesson length. As I progressed I always looked forward to my driving lessons, as I developed really quickly and enjoyed both the conversation and all the great learning tips and advice. Peter uses visual aids to explain new manoeuvres or junctions, which I found really helpful. If you want to re-do something or ask questions, he is very patient and explains things very well. He is also excellent fun and extremely funny! Absolute pleasure to be around but also extremely an good teacher. I am especially grateful to Peter for helping me get a refund for my first test due to an issue with the test. He was on my side and kept tabs on the issue until it was resolved. Truly professional and great experience as he was looking out for me even after I passed my test. 10/10!

I had an assessment with instructor Judith Tatham (Solo Driving Academy) and was surprised to find I was a lot better than I thought! I put in a request to have Judith again and Momentum Driving School arranged the whole thing perfectly for me. I grew my driving confidence from 1 - 100 by the end of the week - I couldn't do a single manoeuvre before I started! And to top it all off I passed first time, an excellent way to end my experience. I highly recommend this service to anyone who wants to improve and get their licence asap. I'd do it all over again!

Can i just say,if your thinking of sitting a CBT and like myself have never ridden a bike before....ever...Don't expect miracles. 7hrs hours later you will need to have mastered v basic bike mechanics, riding, theory and develop a bedrock of self confidence... £115 - £125 (depending on promotions) for a CBT..Treat this as 7hrs of training. Which at £16 an hour is frankly a bargain to learn a new skill and cheaper than driving lessons.. These people genuinely care about what they do. I have no problem at all with recommending them from my limited perspective as a complete novice rider. Thumbs up!

I did a CBT here about a year ago and I can only say that the training was extremely poor. This was my first day on a bike, being pillion for the last few years. You'll be given very little advice about the actual art of riding, which will obviously cause you some issues. It's pretty much just a day of getting on a rusty old bike, riding around until you, yourself get used to riding, but with extremely poor, guessed technique. If you're lucky, you'll pick up enough in order to "pass". But the whole day will be like a ride through hell, getting yelled at for making mistakes (within a few minutes of starting). You're paying money to get yelled out. Completely out of order, unprofessional and frankly speaking one of the worst riding experiences of my life. If you meet this individual you will eventually want to tell him where to shove it, but I somehow managed to bare with it for my love of riding. He will expect you to ride perfectly. You will not. Having now passed, I've been riding about a year now on a sv650 and I've been almost obsessive about correct riding technique. Looking back on the poor training that I was given first, it's evident how bad the instructor was at teaching and just how many issues he really has. Terrible. I can't say I've experienced the other instructors there, perhaps they're not in serious need of mental evaluation. But for a riding school to employ such a blatant masochist, they fully deserve to be boycotted.
