Great cafe This is a terrific little cafe in Wauchope! The service is friendly, the food is good and the prices are reasonable. The coffee is quite good too. They also stay open after all of the other cafes in town have closed! read more

I looked around online and wound up purchasing the "Purple Surprise Arrangement" ($65 AU) from Lily's Florist and the order was fulfilled by Kathy's Creative Flowers. The arrangement was stunning! I went with the standard size and it looks so full and lush. The card was handwritten, which gave it a much more personal touch. They delivered relatively early in the day, which is a plus too. Now I know who to use for all our special occasions!

I chose their "Floral Fantasy" arrangement that is $150 including delivery. It was meant to be a gorgeous arrangement of roses, hydrangeas, tulips, and orchids. Instead, my friend received roses, banksia, button mums and CARNATIONS. The tulips were especially important to me because they are the recipient's favorite flower. Are you actually serious? $150 and you use CARNATIONS? I was not notified, despite providing an email address, that a much cheaper substitute would be used for three-fourths of the arrangement. I will be pursuing a refund ASAP.

Can't decide what I like better , the little Cafe or the Store?…read moreThe service here is great, fast and very friendly. The breakfast menu is written on a big black board inside. You can take your own water at the register, either in cups or a whole glass bottle. My partner liked his chai a lot , made in a tea pot not with a flavor mix like so often, no, actually cardamom and cinnamon in it. The store has really nice stuff, everything kind of has a color scheme , a reddish corner a green one... Lots of little things like picture frames, necklaces, bags , pillows . The tables you sit at are in between , probably good for business! Nice neighborhood place not far from the beach, for sure worth a visit! The locals seam to like it also .

Over the past 13 years, I've tried most of the florists in Port and we've had some interesting experiences - early deliveries, cheap substitutions, and some outright disasters. Having to rely on website photos is tough! Bungalow & Co came through for me. I chatted with them via Instagram a week before her birthday. I wanted one of their arrangements done in a different color and they were quick to reply. They were happy to accommodate my request and placing an order on their site was simple. On my friend's big day, I was shocked at the huge, stunning arrangement that was delivered, followed by the string of caps lock flailing messages from my bestie. Not only were the flowers fresh, artfully arranged, and beautiful, the florist was kind enough to make a second delivery attempt when she realized no one was home. She specifically didn't want to leave the arrangement out in the sun and returned later in the afternoon, which was greatly appreciated. Bungalow & Co is my new go-to for our special occasions. The price was more than fair for the quality and size of the arrangement that was delivered. The service was friendly and responsive. I'm looking forward to our next special occasion!

The main floor had a traveling exhibit from the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney, which did nothing for me. The second floor had a display of Max Dupain's lost works which focused on work in vineyards in the 1950s which I found great. The third floor was full of abstract junk I would not even call art, but each to there own.

So to start off. This is the true local surf and skate shop. And since my friend and I were…read moretraveling surfing the east cost of Australia. And we wanted local T-shirts to take back with us. And we were lucky to find a couple in our size. It was our second time stopping in Port Macquarie. And this is when we found them. Of course we could have gone the giant surf shop in town. But we can get those shirts back home. Or anywhere in the world. Not what we wanted. The store manager was really cool. A lady with a great personality. There was also a young guy working there. Both of them were awesome. Though they had no clue about Yelp. So I had to show them. They were amazed. And I put them on the map. We chatted with them. And they let us know of some local surf spots. That we had not hit yet. And they didn't disappoint. I won't disclose them. But if you stop by. They might tell you about them. So this place reminded me of some local surf shops in SoCal. Mainly Venture and Dana Point. I can probably even say San Diego and Santa Barbara. It reminds me of home. The manager hooked us up with some stickers and cuzzy. With their logo. Which I use often. But the shirt I got from here. Is what gets people attention. And get lots of questions about. This place has everything you would need. From boards to clothing. From adults, men's and women's down to little Groms. Hats T-shirt's shorts and bathing suits. Oh yes wetsuits. They also carry anything you need to be a great skater. But the best thing is that they are local. And thrive off your sales. Also their prices were the same or a lot lower for the same stuff. They also don't hound you. They talk to you like you are their friend. They also ate not pushy. They want you to be happy with whatever you get. We already have this spot marked down for our return trip next year. See you next summer. Our winter.
