I love this well established chemist mainly for it's very friendly, well informed staff who have never been anything but genuinely helpful on each occassion I've visited. It does'nt matter if you want to buy or are just looking for advice, you will be treated with courtesy & respect, and not made to feel uncomfortable as I've sometimes experienced in some of the large well-known department stores. This is the place to come if you want advice on a make-over, or to try out various skin products. Usually you will need to book an appointment, but often you can just pop in & one of the experienced staff will willingly oblige you there & then. As an added bonus you will often be offered some free beauty samples, but if not, just ask! A perfect example of one of my recent experiences is that I popped in for a sample of a certain foundation but they didn't have any availableso instead of just turning me away, as many would do, the consultant took one of the products from the shelf and transferred some into a small container for me. The salon is very nice, they have masagge chairs so you can relax while having your hair washed or tonned. You get offered refreshments from a list of available beverages (hot and cold, and free of charge). There is free WiFi to use while you visit. Upstairs there is a small spa/beauty salon: you can book massages, facial treatments, nail treatments, hair removal, etcétera. I have not had issues getting an appointment so far but it can be very busy!. You can buy hair products, styling tools and accessories. They also offer a discount when you Bring a friend or if you fill your loyalty card. Price wise: you pay for what you get, and in my opinion it is not expensive. I have been to a different salon which charged more and had inferior facilities and did not get my colour right on several occasions.

It's a good place to relax and keep fit. I am yet to try one of the group classes. The treatments are one of the best i ever had in any spa(been to quite a few in different countries).
