After that, they backed up into my yard to take down another large tree and trim all the trees of the neighbor on Monarch Ct. I called Eau Claire Tree Service and spoke with the owner, Rick Olson. He said my neighbors should have informed me. Apparently, they had a bid done last October. I knew nothing about the bid and was not asked for permission to enter my yard with that huge truck. Furthermore, I do not have any trees on my property. I have messaged all neighbors involved last evening and spoke with Rick Olson again today. The tree company or my neighbors have not taken any responsibility on this matter. It is a terrible way to run a business. I want to make people aware that you cannot always trust your neighbors. I really should have called the police. It was trespassing on my property.

I guess they heard "insurance" and figured $7,500.00 was reasonable. Left the wood there, didn't clean up their mess, and had to deal with a secretary named Donelle who didn't answer any of my questions, was rude and unsupportive, and then refused to talk to me because I used some humor to lighten a stressful situation. I asked for payment plan because "the money tree was destroyed in the storm last month so we don't have any growing on it at the moment". She replied back with "I have answered all of your questions very promptly and been as helpful as possible. I don't appreciate the disrespectful way that I'm being spoken to. Came out quickly and did the job in an hour, that estimate didn't include haul away of wood. Was supposed to cut into smaller pieces so we could burn. Didn't really do that either. When I asked how much we owed he picked up the card and showed me the estimate he had written on the back. My hubby wasn't home so I wrote him the check, but shouldn't have. They are new to the business and will not get repeat business if not fair in their pricing. Would not use again.
