this business recently opened in the Publix shopping plaza. they were offering discounted haircuts…read morefor their grand opening. i needed my shaggy head trimmed up so i stopped in. i was looking forward to a nice haircut before leaving tifton. as stated in other reviews, i prefer the discount chains because they're quick and cheap. i wanted to give this establishment more stars. initially, my stylist was impressive. i was somewhat perplexed though why my cut was taking so long. i keep it simple and standard...short on the sides, trimmed on the top, kind of a "boxy" style. it's what i say everytime i get my hair cut. why this is a hard cut, i don't know. she kept my back toward the mirror the entire cut, so i had no idea what was going on. when she finished, and i saw my haircut, i wanted everything shorter...shorter on the sides and top. she then used the clippers and ran it over my whole head giving me that uniform, round head look. i was not impressed, but didn't press it because i had been in there 45 minutes and needed to run more errands. when i showered, i noticed several stragler hairs and uneven-ness. i returned the next day, and the staff was very apologetic and pleasant. my new stylist sat me right away and cleaned me up. however, to correct some of the uneven-ness, she had to cut a little more, so now i'm left with more of a military style cut, something i don't really care for. 5 stars for my follow-up cut, 2 stars for my initial cut.

I ended up having to fix both of their haircuts at home and for the record, I'm not a hairdresser. But somehow, with no professional training, I managed to clean it up and make it look presentable, which says a lot about the quality of work they received.
