I wanted to leave an honest review to help other parents. The staff was polite and the environment was nice, however, they did not seem to have experience working with children with special needs. As a parent of a child with special needs, patience, understanding, and accommodations are very important. Unfortunately, I felt that the staff were not prepared to provide the support or flexibility my child needed. Not happy with the customer service that i was provided and it all starts with the front the receptionist i think her name is Alejandra comes off as nice but its all a fake once you question her she gets sort of dismissive they had a new receptionist she was nice, the last receptionist that was there i cant remember her name she wore glasses now she was very kind and bubbly she had one of those welcoming personalities and would engage with you they definitely need her back !! the Office Manager Jose seems he doesn't know how to manage an office he was also very rude to me when i had questions about my child's treatment there is no way my child had so Much decay 5 fillings needed and 3 baby root canals is insane i had brought him here 6 months ago and he had zero cavities , Jose made me feel like the worst mother making assumptions that i probably feed my child high sugary food/drinks ive been coming here for years and to be treated in such a manner is unacceptable the owner should really look into who he has working for him Never coming here again read more

We've had more than one negative experience with this office. There have been scheduling issues where information wasn't properly verified, and at one point an appointment needed to be rescheduled but we were never contacted. It's very inconvenient to take time off work and pull children out of school for appointments that don't happen. We gave the office another chance, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, the staff we interacted with were not welcoming. My child and I genuinely felt a sense of bias in how we were treated. Several families who arrived and signed in after us were called back first. After waiting nearly half an hour with no update, we decided to leave. We did receive a call later apologizing and asking us to reschedule, but at this point it feels more like a response prompted by management rather than genuine care. We feel the overall pattern of experiences has made it hard to trust the office moving forward and we won't be returning. read more

Great dentist! Feels clean and the dentists all are very nice and seem to actually care. The dental assistants are also very nice. The office staff is good but nothing above and beyond. The only problem I have with this dentistry is the wait time. If your on time, early, there no one else in the lobby you sit and wait for 20+ minutes and that's on a good day. This place is very clean with an inviting kid-centered ambiance. The staff is exceptional, professional, and they handle the most resistant children with aplomb! I was a nervous wreck brining my toddler in, but the staff instantly put me at ease. The waiting room has televisions with cartoons/movies and iPads with games. Each chair has an overhead television with kids movies so patients can watch while getting their teeth worked on. My son had to fill cavities. They strapped him down and he was screaming at the top of his lungs for almost an hour and a half. I told them to give him a break and they would say " see if you stop screaming you can leave faster" and one point the dentist said " what are you crying for ?!" He was choking on water and they wouldn't suction it. I was like he's choking and they were like there is a suction in there. He was swearing and kept telling them he was hot and they just ignored him. I told them he was autistic and they just said OH. They are pumping kids in and out of there and no one really knows how to talk or be with kids. On the way out my son seemed like he was gunna faint and the lady was like "here" and gave him a little toy. No one was making him feel safe and no one has a personality there. I really don't want to post a negative review but hopefully they change how they do treatment. The dental assistants are super friendly and we loved them! However when it comes to filling cavities it's just horrible or any treatment. They strap the kids down on a board super tight. They give the kids a drink to make them drowsy. It doesn't work because they still scream and cry so bad including my daughter. At first it was fine but the second time it got so worse. She was crying and screaming. Was told it was Normal and the board was the only way to go. (Not true go to different office now and they use laughing gas) the last time we ever went my husband took her and never again. He said it was horrible and to stop taking her there. I agreed. If they would stop doing that I would definitely come back. But seems they still do. read more

Dr. Arlene Kampilla - Negligent practice regarding oral sedation of my toddler. I have been bringing my toddler to this practice for about a year and a half all experiences have been great until our most recent visit. We had a scheduled appointment for my 3 year old and opted to try oral sedation for the first time. The receptionists and assistants here are kind and do most of the communication when it comes to treatment plans. However, that is not informed consent when it comes to medications & procedures. Dr. on staff should be doing their due diligence. Dental assistant hands me a syringe of oral sedation medication in the hallway to give to my toddler. She was resistant to swallowing the medication which any toddler would. I requested we move into our room so that I could get her more comfortable and able to take the medication. We walk into the room, tv is blaring, music blaring, Dr. Kimpilla is high energy, tells me right away this isn't going to work, she had no patience to begin with. Tells me sometimes you have to hold kids down like she did to her daughter, odd. a pediatric dentist with no patience or bedside manner. My daughter is then restrained down in the papoose as is common at this practice. as Dr. Kampilla begins inserting the syringe into my child's mouth to administer the oral medication. Dr. Kampilla puts her fingers in the corner of my daughters mouth and is forcibly pinching her cheek. I ask her to stop pinching her cheek several times as my daughter is expressing pain. At this point she has consumed about 3/4 of the syringe of sedation. When she finally removes her finger from my daughter's mouth there is blood in the corner of her mouth. When I express that the Dr. needs to stop at my request and that she made her bleed, she then proceeds to say no my daughters lips are just chapped and slathers an excessive amount of Vaseline all over her lips and around her upper and lower lip. I immediately told them to wipe it off.The Dr then again says this isn't going to work, ending the appointment, and leaves the room. Sending us home with a toddler who has JUST been sedated with absolutely no communication or monitoring of my now sedated child. A child under oral sedation needs to be monitored and a care plan needs to be in place. regardless of if the practice so routinely sedates and restrains their patients that they are so comfortable as to not feel the need to monitor their young patients. I was shocked to receive such a neglectful and careless experience after having great experiences in the past with Dr. Kim. To top it all off when Dr. Kampilla left the room immediately after sedating my daughter, the dental assistant refused to give me her full name. I had to request it from the front desk. read more

We had the best experience yesterday! This office was able to answer and game plan my daughters teeth in a way I haven't experienced before, it felt really comforting to know they saw the same problems as me and were able to provide a few different options (because realistically) with dental work it's a best case scenario to worst case scenario deal in my head haha. Dr. Lee was able to squeeze my son in for treatment yesterday bc they are booked!!! Don't be upset if you are a new patient who will require treatment not being treated the same day.. they are BUSY! And they're honest about it so I can appreciate that. We transferred after we moved from OC and our old dentist closed. I would have moved them here years ago had I known there was such a difference in care. They took X-rays to confirm answers for questions I had, was able to show me in detail things I'd been wanting to see for years! Super cool office with superb staff. I came in last week for my child's check up. My child has had a lot of work done in the past so can be a little nervous when going back. All the assistants where AWESOME! Very caring and cheerful! Our assistants name was Tiara, she was very kind! She even showed and talked with my child about all the tools she was going to use for there cleaning. This made them way less nervous! The doctor we had was Dr.Chris he was nice to us and very informative! BUT he wasn't very nice to the assistant. He was kinda snappy at her and pointed out every little thing she did "wrong". We thought she did great. If she needed correction that's totally fine but being snappy and passive aggressive toward the assistant is very unprofessional. The office itself is awesome, I just hope the doctor is not like that all the time. read more

I decided to switch my daughter here from western dental because her dentist appointments were very unproductive because she would snatch tools away and they sound give up and just not end up doing anything. The dental assistants were extremely patient and did all they could to get my daughter to cooperate and feel comfortable and it worked! They were successfully able to work on her teeth and I couldn't be happier. The office is also very nice and kid friendly with different Disney movies playing in each room and even an iPad room in the waiting room for kids to explore and play games.
