We were beyond satisfied with her work and pricing. She was very professional throughout the entire experience and very specific when communicating with us. During our shoot, she made it less awkward for both of us, especially since he and I hate being in front of a camera. As a photographer, she wasn't afraid to express her ideas and convey them to us, whether it was posing us on top of a tree branch (yes, it really did happen and I survived!) or lying down on a blanket and capturing our "good side." She really works with you and is open to any ideas or concerns you have. We saw our photos almost immediately and we were floored. Amazing work without a doubt!

Decent photographer. Sketchy as hell tho…read more He gave me prices for photos, said it was $30 each. The next time I spoke to him, he rose the prices to $40 each (thinking I didn't remember what he originally said). Then on his website, it said $50. I confronted him about the price on his site, and he said "oh 'they' choose the prices, I don't have any say in that. I didn't realize 'they' rose their prices". He was really pushy about his package deal when I made it clear I just wanted one photo. "See one photo is this much, but I'll sell the whole package to you for $200, screw if you just want one photo, you get your money's worth with the $200". I JUST WANTED ONE PHOTO YOU SKETCHY PERSON! I backed out, telling him I didn't appreciate him changing his prices on us throughout the duration of this transaction. Then he was like "okay okay fine, I'll give you the photo for $30 then"

When we decided on New Concept Photography, we made the right choice. Dan was great! Dan was fun!…read more Dan was everywhere! Dan embraced the out of the ordinary ideas. The only request we made was we were more interested in action shots and left the rest to New Concept. We are obsessed with the final pics. Dan thought of everything. He did not blink at some of our unconventional ideas for the wedding and actually ensured that those ideas were front and center in some pics. We praise Dan!

Our actual photographer was a woman named Stephanie. I didn't even know there were additional…read morephotographers working for the business until she called a week before the wedding. She did get some decent group portraits, the ceremony shots are fine, and some of her B-roll is actually quite nice. But we were rushed because we were never advised to allot more time, and appropriate care was definitely NOT taken with any of the portraits. Poor composition, poor posing (she never gave us much directing), poor framing, color/exposure issues due to incorrect camera settings, and a lot of funny expressions because she never checked her work before moving on. I do not have a single full length glamour shot of myself, or a good portrait of my husband and me. Absolutely NOT up to the quality we were paying for. I have edited this to add a star because to his credit, Dan offered to do some additional portraits of me and my husband at no charge, which I took him up on. I appreciate the professionalism and willingness to correct the mistakes. My experience with him was very different, everything you would expect from a pro portrait photographer, and the photos are SO MUCH better. So if he is your photographer, then, great -- I recommend him! If you find out that Stephanie has been assigned to you -- ask for someone else!

We met Jennifer at the castle for engagement photos, and were told inside photos would not work because it was too dark (she did not bring a flash). The experience was something else, not what you would expect. At the end of the session I was informed her father would be the other photographer at our wedding since her husband didn't like taking photos at castles. That would have been great information for us to have at the bridal show where we met, or during the first get together to see what our expectations were. We honestly felt as if she decided she wanted Memorial Day weekend off and gave us a bad experience to entice cancelling. We did cancel, and she didn't seem to really care or act surprised. Per the contract she did still get the deposit to "save the date". If this wasn't an intentional act to get us to cancel one should ask what makes a professional photographer a professional photographer. The presentation she had at the bridal show was great, but we did question a negative review we saw, as it was one of very few reviews we could find. It should have been a sign.

I've seen all the photos from all sessions and they are really nice, good quality. Jen is a super nice person, very easy going, and my sister really liked the experience of working with her. As a mother of a new baby myself, I wish I had done something like this. If you are thinking about it, just book her! That first year goes by so fast and I know my sister will cherish having great quality photos...especially great family photos which are so hard to get with an infant.

From the very start, it was a top-notch experience. Tim is extremely passionate about what he does and he brings a tremendous amount of energy to the sessions. He's also great at talking with the kids and helping them define their passions. He takes that information and helps them create sessions that reflect their personality and interests. He's willing to move to different locations and use different outfits, hairstyles, etc. He's extremely easy to work with and creates a fun experience for the kids. He let's them express themselves through unique photos as well as including more traditional pictures. My son, for example, went to his chemistry lab at CSCS and they took photos of him as a mad scientist. My daughter was in the woods with a guitar. My step son had a great picture leaning against his dad's Camero and a really cool James Bond type picture where he was wearing a suit holding a pistol with a suppressor. My step daughter had equally awesome photos. His services aren't cheap, but they're worth it. He's very talented and a super great guy. Otherwise, we wouldn't have come back and have him shoot four different kids. To be clear... he shot pictures... didn't actually shoot the kids with like, a gun or something.
