The sculptures that are located on the building are of interesting animals, usually they are of gargoyles and statues of famous men or monarchs. The drive to this place is breathtaking. The road from Spain is gorgeous driving by the coast. I took a picture of one of the many views. This place is very organized and the staff was very nice. Yelp Now that I have been yelping for a while, I realize what a cool application this really is. Yelp has become my "go to" site whenever I go to a new city around the world. I've also been able to communicate with yelp friends from around the world whenever I travel to a new city in order to get advice of where to eat and also for business information. Yelp is also a great way to keep track of your past experiences and it has become a digital record of where I have been and how much I enjoyed those locations. Yelp is also really great place to connect with people in your own town to see what is going on and what is fun and which restaurants are new and exciting. Try it, you may very well enjoy becoming a yelper also.

You are forced to take the guided tour if you would like to see the inside of the castle…read more Unfortunately, the tour is only in French. You are given some typed up description (in your language) of the rooms in the Chateau but it's by far not comparable to the guided tour. I understood about 30-40% of what the guide was saying and it was so much more extensive than the simple print. My kids do not know french and totally felt gypped. No headset was available. Also, the family package for $25euros (4-5 people) is not honored if you have a child over 16 years old. It's still a nice Chateau and Antoine Abbadia was way ahead of his time back then but the 1 hour tour failed if you don't understand French. Also no pictures of any kind are allowed once in the Chateau.

La partie la plus ancienne de l'église date du XVe siècle. L'intérieur spectaculaire se compose d'une nef unique et s'orne de trois étages de superbes galeries en bois. A découvrir aussi, l'oeuvre du sculpteur Martin de Bidache : un grand retable du XVIIe siècle qui se compose de trois registres, ornés d'une profusion de statues nichées entre des colonnes torses.
