When I walked in there was a man standing behind the counter. He just GLARED at me until I made the effort to say hello. Seconds later a couple came in and he jumped all over them saying Hello, How are you? Making jokes with them about their shirts...They did not know him but he made it a point in making them feel welcome. I asked about cufflinks for my husband and he said: "I'm sure there are some around the Store!". This is not the economy to be acting like a complete JERK! In regards to the antiques, they were way over-priced. I could not believe that this store is still in business because of the way this man acted and the price of the items. If you don't like interacting with customers, close up shop and tell the vendors to sell their goods on Ebay. Please don't waste your time!

Clementines ran an estate sale in their home town. I saw an wall clock PRICED for $45. I wasn't…read moresure about buying it because it had minor damage on the top. The man running the sale came over and discussed the clock with me and said I'll make it $40 because of the damage. He opened the face to show it was working and said it's a good clock, it's a "Howard Miller ". His wife overheard and said "it's a Howard Miller?!". She came over to look at it and then they both walked away. She pulled out her phone and I could overhear them talking about how they could sell that clock elsewhere and so on. They never came back to talk to me after that. So, about 10 minutes later I decided to buy the clock because i knew my uncle could repair the damage. I brought it over to the table to make my purchase. The wife said "hold on" and went upstairs where her husband was. She came back down and said "I'm sorry I can't sell you that clock. It's $140". And proceeded to give me bogus excuses. I said "you clearly wrote $45 on the clock and you dropped the price to $40 because of the damage". I'm still in shock by their business etiquette and integrity. They clearly wrote down a price; negotiated less for something and then retracted. That is just unheard of in any industry...especially one that works solely by a man's word and honor.

I brought some very expensive items to be sold a few months before the pandemic. The prices Karen…read moreput on them were so cheap. At 90 days I went back as instructed so if my items did't sell I would take them back. Karen was too busy and told me she had people interested but they wanted the items for less. I told Karen to forget it that I wanted my items back. She refused. I went back a week or so later and the store was closed. I called, left messages and got no reply.
