He also checked a clogged toilet, in a bathroom that I haven't been able to keep pristine. Then? He said he had to go to his truck to work up an estimate. After waiting on him for 25 minutes, I saw that he'd just GONE. I called HQ: they said he he'd called them, saying he 'FELT LIKE VOMITING'. OK, fair enough, I am disabled and can't keep the house as I'd like. but to just FLEE?? With not a WORD??? HQ guy said they're a new company, and still working on "customer relations' issues. He was embarrassed, and I am livid. All the guy had to do was tell me he was leaving, and why. I'd have understood, esp with the stinky cat box bathroom. But to just LEAVE without telling me?? NOT good customer relations, guys. And HQ not calling me to tell me he'd vanished, leaving me to look like a dork with a stinky bathroom? A stinky house? NOT GOOD. Not good at all.

Let me say that his quote was the best price out of all others quoting not to mention he could start right away (RED FLAG during the in season). He seemed like a nice, sincere guy so I gave him the job. He wasn't into the job more than 2 days that he told me he was going to have to charge more because it was taking him too long to complete. I don't know about you but when I get a price quote I expect the contractor to honor it! I felt bad that it was a bigger job then what he anticipated so I gave him a fair amount more $$. After he left I was left with a mess to clean up!! Since he used oil based paint on the trim, it needed another coat but Kevin was finished the job and never to return. I spent 2 full days repainting missed spots on walls and had to redo all the trim work in 2 bedrooms including closet doors. He also put the newly installed closet door knobs on backwards. I did try to notify him on several occasions to come back and fix door knobs but he chose to ignore me. I would not recommend him to anyone who wants a job completed correctly without any mess to clean up. I could have had a professional painter get the job done faster without any mistakes! Lesson learned!!
