I could not fix it so I called leaf guard and explained the problem and that I knew in order to keep warranty I was not to attempt a DYI fix up. Their response was a quick follow-up and they would send someone out to check on it. I was willing to wait until they were in my area. Sure enough a short time later they called and said they would be in the area. I was on vacation and when I came home my gutter was reattached. In my experience there have been few times that companies who did work for me followed through with their warranty claims. I just wanted Leaf Guard to know I appreciated their follow through even more than 20 years later. After looking at it I decided I couldn't fix it myself, instead I contacted The Gutter Boys based on the Yelp Reviews. At this point they said they were so busy they could only quote on replacing all of the gutters, I figured it cost me nothing to get the quote. The quote was reasonable for the size of the job, but more then I wanted to spend, so I let them know that I did not want to move ahead with the job. A couple of weeks later they contacted me and let me know that they would quote on replacing only the back gutter. This came in and was still a bit higher then I wanted to spend. After another couple of weeks they sent a revised quote that was about 20% lower at which point I decided to go ahead with the job. Getting the job started was easy, you log onto their website, review and approve the contract and put down a 50% deposit. Once this was done they scheduled the job in less then a week. On the scheduled day they came out while I was at work, took down the old gutter, put up the new gutter and downspouts and cleaned up the jobsite. A very nice job all the way around. I never had an contact with any of their personnel other then by text and phone, but they got the job done fast and professionally.

They were the only ones to come out in person to assess and quote which was great. The first crew that came out were the power washers and they were wonderful - 5 stars all the way. Did a great job and were careful of all our plants/garden. The second crew that came out were to paint/repair the porch and deck. The person who painted the back deck used a paint sprayer and didn't cover our vegetable garden or pots (even tho we were assured when we hired them that everything would be covered and cared for). The owner saw this after it happened and when we raised this concern twice in person were told first the rain would wash the paint away and the other time that to trust him the plants will be fine. The next day it rained - the paint did not wash away. I contacted the owner with photos and he said he fired the painter and would be out soon to clean up the mess. If the job was bad enough to fire the painter, why would he not try to rectify it on the spot instead of brushing off our concerns? Despite saying he would see us soon to clean up, he never showed up. After a week I contacted him to let him know our plants have died and we have not seen any clean up. I have not heard back from him (this was 3 days ago now) so we assume we will never see him again at this point. Included are photos of all our paint splattered plants (which nearly all have died since) and paint splattered pots (most of which were brand new).

He never showed up after 4 or 5 calls and texts to ask/remind etc. He completely left me hanging with non-existent follow up after he made the sale.
