I dance daily and Dr. Tyler is very efficient and resetting and unwinding all the strains I put my body thru. When he's done with a spot, it doesn't come back. He identifies, explains and solves issues. You'll feel great and come away really informed about where your body is at.

I didn't mean that as a brag, but to emphasize my belief that Dr. Gatteau is one of the most positive influences on my running career. His adjustments were huge for a temporary issue, but he helped me develop a process to approaching my sport from a recovery & wellness perspective that actually helped all areas of my life. I came in the summer of 2013 before my senior year of High school with issues with pretty substantial pain, inflammation, and tightness. He made some pretty important adjustments for the time. But he also taught me how to stretch properly, and to relax and naturally drop into a stretch. Using your parasympathetic nervous system vs. forcing into a stretch (sympathetic). This was all in 3 appointments, in one week when I was on vacation, with a huge impact on my career. Before meeting him, I was "injury prone", and at the time I was stressed, and worrying if I'd be able to complete my last Cross Country season in one piece. Instead I was All-State in Illinois Cross Country, ran a 4:15 mile in Track, and got a Division I scholarship. As I reflect on some of my happiest experiences as an athlete, I'm thankful that Dr. Gatteau helped me develop the relaxation process that allowed me to perform at peak levels.

This is the second doctor I have gone to on a regular basis at the Joint on Taft who has left unexpectedly and suddenly with no explanation. Dr. Justin also was just gone with no notice or explanation. A third doctor I was seeing regularly, Dr. Matt, went to Lafayette to start a Joint there, but there was plenty of notice when he left. I'm not a "one size fits all" kind of person though I understand that the Joint model assumes that all chiropractors and all clients are created equal. Dr. Caleb's work with me grew as he got to know me better. He always asked good questions that led him to help me more specifically over time. I'm really disappointed as I was just hitting my stride again with Dr. Caleb. It's not a good business model to have such frequent turnover and clients at the Taft office have declined as a result.

She's extremely knowledgeable about spinal anatomy and therapy, and she applies her knowledge very effectively. But what really sets her apart is her individualized care. She listens carefully to your own description of your problems instead of jumping right into the standard routine. She then customizes her care to resolve those problems, and she always remembers your history the next time. To top it off, her manner is warm and sincere, and she's passionate about what she does. When my adult son came to Fort Collins from South Carolina on a visit, I allotted precious visit time to driving to the more distant (for me) Harmony location to have Dr. Shay adjust him. Afterwards he said that his chronically-stiff neck (he works virtually) felt better after that one adjustment than it has in years.
