I've been working with Cindy for a little over a month now and all I can say is that my life has tremendously shifted for the better. I started coming here around 2009/2010. This is the best place I've ever had a body wrap at. Other body wrap places I've been to in the past use loose blankets with seaweed/mud and there are not big results from that. Then there are those that use the bandages soaked in minerals which help somewhat, but not for long. Cindy's come in many levels, and they work great! I've been to Cindy close to a dozen times since I started going to her. It's always good to get at least 2 wraps a year, but in recent years I've been going a lot less and then it hurts me to do that because of all the toxic build-up my body gets with living in Los Angeles. Every time I get a wrap, I see results instantly, and the wrap and the solution she uses continues to work for up to 3 weeks to a month, so there's a continuous slimming/detox going on. I usually lose 20-25 pounds after I get a wrap done as the solution continues to help slim/shed pounds. When I go in my home sauna at home, I see even better results after I have the wrap as compared to when I haven't had one in months, then my sauna doesn't work as effectively. I came to Beach Bodyworks not to lose weight, but to detox and reset my system. I do not diet as I need all the caloric intake I can get to lift heavy with my crossfit routine. Not to mention, I do not cook, so I tend to eat out too much and with that comes the consumption of over processed foods and I have a huge sweet tooth. It was my birthday week and I just felt in the slumps from eating out too much and summer adult beverage consumption. I found Cindy on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I found cindy nearly two years ago though Yelp. I had seen her listing many times before but that moment I was really compelled to contact her because I was desperate for some healing. I had gone to other people for help but nothing seemed to work. A lot of people in the energy work industry unfortunately take advantage of others, especially when they are weak. There are no words to express what Cindy has done and continues to do with my life. She began working on me in January 2018 and ever since then my life has been amazingly different in a great way. I first came to see Cindy in 2006 when I was getting ready for a big event and needed to slim down fast! I got a detox wrap and lost 24 inches on my body. I was so amazed. Felt compelled to write a review as I've recently reunited with Cindy and I don't know why I haven't written a review before. I used to come to Cindy more frequently when I lived closer but will say it's worth the commute from Los Feliz to have a really great experience at her spa. I love that it's very personal, you never feel rushed- she always books clients knowing full and well that it takes time to change before and after treatments.
