The truffle pasta we ordered was a bit better, but not by much. Finally, no bread was provided for the meal. What kind of Italian restaurant doesn't provide a basket of bread? Especially a country that prides itself on great bread making! For service, the server was friendly but we barely saw her for the rest of the meal, she gave us very little attention. Not only were they going to open on Sunday night, but they weren't supposed to open until 7. We walked by at 6:30, and the owner offered us a seat. This was SO sweet since he did not speak english ( we spoke very little french or italian) and his waitress who did speak english hadn't come in yet. He made do and was so very hospitable. We had the margherita pizza and ravioli bolognese. Not only was the food delicious, and completely authentic, but we cannot say enough about the high quality of ingredients and the value. We stayed to have gelato (also amazing). We will only be here three days but can't wait to come back. I hope more people find this one of a kind place - just a tad tucked away behind the busy tourist filled places on the main street.
