Even after calling the rather unprofessionally manned office phone. Hard to believe -but they just don't turn up despite telling me on the phone that the driver is outside. Seriously? A rookie unreliable service. I ended up having to call an uber and the trip was actually cheaper than the price these guys quoted anyways. I used to book them for trips to/from airport but never again.

One star is too many stars…read more I booked this service because of the positive reviews I had read - no doubt these were forged or the people who made them were just lucky. The only positive thing I can say about our taxi journey was that the driver picked us up on time. At the beginning of our journey our driver got lost due to the Blackwall tunnel being closed overnight. He then could not find his way to the airport and my partner had to redirect him several times. He also got into an altercation with another driver which involved the driver of the other vehicle throwing a bottle at our cab and our driver swerving and breaking hard, he got out of the vehicle and asked the other driver to do the same. The driver of the other vehicle drove off. It should be noticed that our driver incited this 'road rage' incident through his swerving to change lane in front of the other driver. The other driver began by saying 'you have customers in your car so you can't do that it's dangerous' and I couldn't agree more! During our journey our driver also drove the wrong way down the road towards an ambulance coming towards us. During our route he changed lane without indicating and didn't look for other vehicles before changing direction. He went the wrong way numerous times and had to be redirected and he stopped frequently on the motorway at junctions putting us in dangerous situations. He also stopped during our journey to fill up with fuel which delayed us further. The only reason my partner and I did not leave the vehicle is because (due to our driver not knowing where to go) we were concerned that we would miss our flight. As it was we made it to the airport just before check in closed. I have made a complaint on their website and through emailing them. I tried to call but no one answered.

I've hired cars from this particular branch of Enterprise for many years. The main reason being…read moreprice sensitivity - it's cheaper to hire a car slightly out of centre than in, say, their South Hampstead branch. However, returning a vehicle today I was stuck by a number of things. Firstly, how supremely excellent Enterprise are at customer service. From the courtesy call before I pop in to get the vehicle to ensure I have all my documents. To the staff in this branch who are incredibly friendly and professional - and appear to also be having a lot of enjoyment working there - a great team it would appear. Thinking about it, the Park Royal car hire place is actually extremely easy to get to - a few mins walk from Harlesden which is on both the bakerloo and Overground line. After yet another great experience this weekend I've decided I simply won't hire a car from anywhere else but here.
