We had such anxiety about what to do for our son's 5th birthday and wrestled with doing Chuck E Cheese or Gymboree. We decided to take a chance on the Balloon Guy and man, they nailed it! Yasmine and Sean were instrumental in creating one of those childhood moments that kids look back and remember fondly throughout their adulthood. Yasmine was a true artist with all her balloon creations and probably made over 30 balloon designs that day ranging from unicorns, princesses, ninjas, sharks, Mario, Superheros, flowers, hats etc. In my head, I know all those kids wished they had parents half as cool as us, ha! Incredibly upset and disappointed with this company. I was in communication with their…read morerepresentative several months prior to my baby shower. I was back and forth between an 18ft ballon garland and a 21ft balloon garland. Their representative informed me that if I went with the 21ft garland, they would throw in free delivery (a $150 value). I asked for the balloon color options and a contract but it was never sent. I followed up a few weeks later and they sent a very limited selections for balloon color options only. When I followed up on the contract and to pay the deposit for the balloons, they said they would no longer offer free delivery. The person was very dismissive and could care less that my event was a month away. Luckily, I found a different balloon company, Plan My Party LA, for a fraction of the price.

We scheduled Spider-Man to visit my son's third birthday party. I was a bit hesitant, since I've…read morenever used this company before, and paying a couple hundred dollars in advance gave me some pause without talking to the person arriving to the party, but felt optimistic given the reviews. Trevor called me in the morning of the birthday party, which was encouraging! He was very friendly on the phone and asked if I had any other questions. He had some issues with his costume when he arrived, but sadly it looked like the zipper was broken. It didn't completely impact the experience though. He started off great with a lot of energy and the kids really loved the different movements and freeze dance. Then, he needed to set up obstacle course, which was a bit strange since it took some time for him to set up. Totally understandable, but I would have suggested that he play Spider-Man music or something of that sort in the meantime. Instead he told the kids to play on the playground. The obstacle course itself wasn't as big of a hit. At that point, the energy kind of died down. It seemed like he was getting tired. 45 minutes after he arrived he said,"Cake time!" I mentioned that the cake was not ready at that point. He encouraged everyone to play at the playground instead. I definitely paid for the full hour, but did not feel like I got that. He did pose for a couple of pictures after I cut the cake, but I did feel like I got ripped off a bit. Normally I wouldn't feel that way, but the petered out energy with the obstacle course and the overall amount I paid, made me a bit disappointed. While I loved his energy in the beginning, and my son loved "meeting" Spiderman, not sure if I would recommend this company in the future.
