I'm so all over the place with this dentist. I have had good experiences with the techs, good and bad with the front staff, good experiences with Dr. Talbot, but in the end I was left with a numb lip following a root canal that no one seems to think is a big deal. So I don't know where to go with this review, I know things happen, they have you sign papers acknowledging that nerve damage is a possibility, but it's not great when it happens to you. I read online that it needs attention within 48 hours to reverse it, but the office told me they would speak with a dentist and call me back since Dr. Talbot was out of town. The call never came. I followed through with my scheduled dental cleaning that week, told the whole back staff about it and a dentist, no one was concerned. So that's about where I am. It's been months, the swelling has come down a little and the pain and numbness aren't as severe, hopefully eventually it will resolve. read more

Got me an appointment quick. Decided to pull 6 teeth so I can get 2 partials and couple crowns. It is now the end of October. I have liked like a jack-o'-lantern since first week of September. It's been awful. Went to their hygienist first week of October who needs 2-6 week waiting for approval. In meal while eating is worse then before, humiliated with my new toothless look, not a word from the office. I guess I need to find a new dentist. First find in town has failed miserably. I wish I had paid more attention to the reviews on Google before making an appointment. ​There dentures are not worth the money or the time, my husband had to come in 6 time to get them fitted and they still don't fit right. He tried to tell them that and all they did was grind them a little and said here ya go, didn't even send them back in, as he asked for them to. We found another dentist close by who does way better, ​cares, and listens to his patients, we will never go back there.​ read more

Our experience with this dental office has been absolutely terrible. I do not recommend this office at all. My husband had to have a root canal and the dentist broken off a drill bit inside his dental canal. It was explained to my husband that it's common for this to happen and not to worry, but they'll pull the tooth if he was worried about it. He ended up having to go see a specialist to get the drill bit removed. We were still charged for the full root canal which was not completed and this office did not try to accommodate us at all. They also charged us twice for no show fees, which were not no shows. The first was due to an emergency of me having a blood clot in my lung and being hospitalized, which they later waived. The second charge was for trying to reschedule the morning of an afternoon appointment where my husband got called out of town for work , which was explained during the phone call. I was told because this is the second occurrence I would be charged a $75 no show fee. I explained to the secretary that this was an emergency and that he did not have a choice about rescheduling. She would not accommodate anything and continued to say that because this was the second occurrence, (the first being an emergency also) that she would still be charging me the $75 fee and continued to send me statements monthly for the no show fee. I understand no show fees are necessary, but to be completely uncooperative in an emergency situation is rediculous!! The dentist that caused the drill bit to break off in my husbands mouth left the room after it happened, saying nothing and had another dentist come in and explain what happened. He couldn't even explain himself and the mistake he made, he had to have someone else come in and do it for him. I believe it was the owner who came in. This office is completely unprofessional and not accommodating to their patients at all, especially during emergency situations, which happen to everyone. It's good to know that they are not interested at all in their patients circumstances, they're just there to take your money after the crappy job they've done with your teeth. You would think they would offer to fix the problem they were responsible for, but nope not this place. We were charged for a full botched root canal and the specialist fee on top of that to fix their mistake. This place is a joke. Be ready to pay rediculous fees and pay for specialists fees on top of that if they happen to screw up! read more

My mom got dentures and they have never fit her right. We go back they say they will work out. But it's been months and still don't fit. She tries to eat and they fall out. $3000.00 dollars down the drain. Not to mention that the people that answer the phones are rude. It's all about the money. Wanted a new local dentist last year. When in for a check-up... no cavities. I was not impressed with Dr. Johnson, and his dental assistants tried to sell me stuff like over priced InterDental toothpicks. However, he found out I had Insurance and told me I needed about $4000. of cosmetic work done (My share would about half that). My insurance paid for the overpriced check-up. Then, a year later, I received two $50 Bills/Statements for a routine check-up appointment, that I never asked them to make for me, did not know about, and hence never when to. read more

My husband went in to get a root canal (on the top) and a filling (on the bottom). They numbed the top of his mouth and the root canal went smoothly, when it came to the filling on the bottom they didn't numb at all. The dentist started drilling and it got to the point where my husband had to rip things out of his mouth to let the dentist know he didn't numb that tooth. And the dental assistant was suprise said "we didn't?!" And the dentist went on to argue saying he didn't need to when my husband was in obvious pain and told him he was. By the time we went to pay we got three different quotes. The lady up front did apologize and we do appreciate that. read more

I would not recommend this practice. I was quoted a treatment but I was billed 3 times the amount quoted after the procedure. I have not received any explanation of the increase and the office has been unresponsive to my inquiries. One of my fillings fell out within a week and I had to take additional time to go their office to get their error corrected. After that frustrating experience with the actual dental work, I was then overbilled. I still haven't had any resolution. read more

Everyone I encountered was very pleasant and my visit wasnt nearly as bad as other dentist visits. I was disappointed with the scheduling of my final visit because it is so far out, but I guess being busy, is good. read more

I went in to have a crown put on one tooth and a filling in the other. this took 3 1/2 hrs! They asked if I wanted an upgrade on the filling. 4 times in that appt I said no! They did it anyway and had me pay out of pocket $62. They said it was for something else. THEY LIED! In less than a week both crown fell off and filling came out. That's even an upgraded filling! They glued it back on, the crown and wanted me to pay for it! NO I WILL NOT! It fell out again 1 month later. I went to a different dentist and he glued it back on but said they took off way too much tooth so now I need a root canal! A Perfect Smile want me to pay $148 out of pocket for "THEIR TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT!" Please! They do everything they can to overcharge for bad dentistry! Then they blame you for them falling out cause " I ate on those teeth"! Guess they expect you not to eat after they fix( ha ha ha ha) your teeth! read more

This place was nice & I never waited too long. The staff is friendly. However I will say that I switched after two appointments. I hadn't been to the dentist in about two years because I had moved here and it hadn't crossed my mind to go to one. I was having some pain in one of my teeth and I was assured that I did not have a cavity there but I did have two in another place. They told me that's probably what is causing the pain in my other tooth because they were in close proximity (this was 2 teeth away from one that I had a cavity in). When I went to get my cavity filled I asked him to please double check that there was no cavity on the tooth that was hurting me so badly and they said they checked again and that there was no cavity on that tooth & once I get the other cavities filled, that tooth should stop hurting. So I let them fill my two cavities which was semi quick & easy & had no problems. But a week later that tooth that they told me had no cavity was still bothering me. So I went for a second opinion. & sure enough, there was a cavity. (I've never had cavities in my life until now & I knew something was wrong because it hurt so bad). I asked if it was possible that it just happened in the last week because how could Dr. Esplin miss that? But I was told it was definitely there when I had went the week before for my cleaning & to get the other two filled. I also only went here because I wanted an orthodontic consultation to finish my braces (I had the major work done but didn't finish it) & every time I asked about it I kind of got the cold shoulder which I assume was because you could not schedule an orthodontist appointment along with a teeth cleaning. Even when I asked after they said to finish all of my dentist stuff first before even trying to make an orthodontist appointment. I'm sure they're great but missing a cavity when I asked them to double check because of the pain is a pretty big mess up for me so I was unhappy & switched to another dentist :) read more

Highly Recommend!! My teeth cleaning was beyond expectations. The staff is amazing and super helpful. I was able to utilize a warm neck pillow and massage chair during my appointment. Dr.Yates was very kind and answered all my questions. He treated me like family and not another number. If you're looking for an overall amazing experience and positive atmosphere.. not to mention kid friendly... This is the place!! Shout out to Nicole, Ladonna, and Misty! I just received a call from the dentist. I must say how much I appreciate their call to me about the issue in which I had about the misunderstanding. I will say this about the perfect smile employees. they did make it right with me in the best way. i now feel like I've been treated fairly. I'm not the sort of person to lie & I don't like getting something for nothing. I will apologize if i came off rude in my last review I was just really upset.
