Not only did she fully support our decision to do so, she went above and beyond in helping us plan a last minute elopement for 2020. We adored every vendor she suggested, and both weddings went off without a hitch. She had all emergencies covered. Forgot the flower girl baskets at the hotel with the ceremony 5 minutes out? No problem! She had extras in her car. My dog getting muddy paw prints all over my dress? Ashley had special wipes that made everything look good as new. She even had a sewing kit on hand for dress malfunctions. I can't say enough wonderful things about her services, and Ashley as a person. I would recommend her to anyone.

We could only afford to hire her as a day of coordinator, but she went above and beyond to help us through every phase. She quickly understood what our vision was for the event was and did everything in her power to make it a reality. She is decisive (when you can't be), ready with a trusted vendor recommendation (when you need it), extremely professional and has a good eye for what's hot (and what's not). She also has a wickedly good sense of humor. She is also fabulous at negotiating prices with vendors so I suggest you get that package if you can swing the cost. We couldn't, but Ashley still helped us get a good price with certain vendors and even came to my dress fitting although I'd already used up the consultations included in my package. In response to the other reviewer: it may take her a little while to respond to emails because she has other clients with weddings taking place before yours. But she always got back to us in less than 48 hours with very detailed responses and her response time was even faster--mere hours--during the last month of the planning. I cannot imagine what the planning would have been without such wealth of information just an email away. Unlike some other planners I've heard stories about, Ashley worked behind the scenes on our wedding day to make everything ran smoothly and only came to us with questions when it was absolutely necessary. You have no idea how important this is. We got to spend time with our family, friends and each other instead of worrying about the small stuff. As a result, the entire event was a success and everyone is still raving that it was the most fun and beautiful wedding they have ever been to. We had a blast too! We would absolutely hire her again without any hesitation and enthusiastically recommend her. She is the best of the best!

There were a million things that happened on our wedding day that seemed like magic - we didn't have to stress over one single thing and were able to enjoy our time with family and friends completely, which is so rare for a wedding. (As an example, one of the bridesmaids had a dress malfunction, which was magically handled by the team without us knowing anything about it). Jacin also had an extremely useful amount of experience in her business, so that she was able to access resources that fit both our vision and budget perfectly, without feeling like we needed to compromise on any aspect of our special day. We had less time to plan everything, about 3-4 months total, but that didn't faze Jacin. We never felt rushed through decisions or anxious about having too little time. True professionals. We highly recommend Jacin and her team, and feel so blessed to have had them with us on the most important day of our lives.

She has such a calming presence and was the only planner who really wanted to know what I wanted for my day. It caught me off guard that she wasn't just selling me on her services the whole time like most planners but she genuinely listened. Jacin's ability to empathize and visualize exactly what I was dreaming of was truly a gift. She is not just a planner; she is a talented designer and I can't even go in to the countless personal touches she thought of that perfectly reflected us, as well as our family and friends. Everything was running perfectly and our dream was about to become a reality and then COVID hit. The shutdowns started two weeks before our big day so we obviously had to cancel our wedding. In typical Jacin fashion, she never missed a beat. By the following day, she managed to rebook every vendor and our same venue only four months after our initial date. An impossible feat for a venue that is booked a year in advance! Even up until the last couple of weeks we weren't sure our wedding could be held because COVID cases were going up again. We agonized over it but Jacin continually reassured us and never made us feel bad for having the wedding, even though I'm sure she was uneasy too. It's not easy to understand the turmoil until you have been there, but we could not have gotten through it without Jacin. She thought of so many clever ideas for a COVID-friendly wedding such as colored wrist bands to distinguish guest's comfort level, monogrammed face masks, sanitizing the entire ballroom, etc. and was so patient in answering our guests emails and safety related questions. Jacin made me feel so calm on my wedding day and I never had to worry about a single thing. It was truly the most relaxing, enjoyable, amazing fairytale weekend and our guests felt so loved and taken care of. Also, her team is amazing!! They are all industry pros; most are planners themselves, so no detail was missed. Under the circumstances it was such a perfect escape from the world and we will always be so very grateful to Jacin and her team for really going way above and beyond to make our wedding weekend so perfect. BOOK JACIN! You will not regret it!!!

Words cannot express how my wife and I feel about our wedding planner, Jordan Xu, of Emily Jordan…read moreEvents (formerly Jordan Flowers of Wedding Belles). She is the best. We were truly lucky to have found her. Throughout our entire wedding planning process, we were very appreciative and grateful to have Jordan by our side. We relied on her heavily. Her guidance and support made everything about our wedding so much easier. We trusted her fully. We can't recommend Jordan and her team enough. Our wedding was April 15, 2022 at the Atlanta History Center. We first started working with Jordan in July 2018. Yes, we had been planning our wedding for about 3 years 9 months. No, we did not plan it that way. Our original wedding date was May 30, 2020. My wife and I had planned for a roughly two-year engagement and wedding planning period. Then of course, COVID happened. Our wedding was postponed twice: First, to May 7, 2021. Then, to April 15, 2022. Jordan was with us and supported us every step of the way. We went from planning a pre-COVID wedding to a post-COVID wedding. We went from in-person planning sessions to virtual planning sessions. We went from "normal" tastings to masked and socially-distant tastings. (BTW, the tastings - both for the food at the reception and for our wedding cake - were some of my favorite parts of the planning process.) We found Jordan after doing internet searches for Atlanta wedding planners. Jordan was one of multiple planners we contacted. One of the planners we spoke to wasn't a good fit. She recommended Jordan to us. Also, an Atlanta wedding photographer I know put in a good word about Jordan. After meeting with Jordan, my wife and I agreed, Jordan was an excellent fit. We immediately felt comfortable and jived with her. Coincidentally, Jordan and my wife went to the same college for undergrad (Emory) and Jordan and I are from the same part of North Carolina (Piedmont Triad). We've gotten along with Jordan so well that we consider her and her husband our friends. They are just really good people. Jordan is very professional and organized. With her years of experience in the wedding industry, particularly in Atlanta and with our venue and vendors, I knew we were in great hands. In general, my wife was more involved in the planning process with Jordan - she was more particular about certain details than I was. However, I think I was involved at an "above-average" level for a groom. I attended every meeting, but admittedly, tried to stay as hands-off as possible. Jordan was invaluable at securing appointments with the vendors that made the most sense to us based on our budget and preferences. Here were our vendors: * Venue: Swan House, Atlanta History Center * Florist: Unique Floral Expressions * Caterer: Affairs to Remember * Cake: Confection Perfection * DJ and MC: Andy of EuroAndy Events * Ceremony Music: Piedmont Strings * Furniture: EventWorks * Wedding Car: Ramblin' Reck from the Ramblin' Reck Club * Photographer: Leigh Wolfe Photography * Videographer: WedFlix * Bride's Wedding Dress: Sweet Elegance and Gizzelle James Couturiere * Bride and Bridesmaids Hair and Makeup: Scoobie West & Company * Bridesmaids Dresses: Bella Bridesmaids * Groom's Tux: TRIO Custom Clothiers * Groomsmen and Bridesman Tuxes: The Black Tux * Hotel: InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta * Trolley: Georgia Trolley Services * Dance Lessons: Fred Astaire Dance Studio (Durham, NC) * Planning Platform: Aisle Planner * Website, Registry, RSVPs: Zola * Paper Save the Dates and Invitations: Minted * Digital Save the Dates and Address Collection: Paperless Post Going through two years of postponements, we did have a couple vendors change due to life circumstances: (1) Our cake vendor changed from Lush Cakery to Confection Perfection. (2) Our dance studio changed from Daza Dance to Fred Astaire. A few of the vendors, we found ourselves. For example, I already had an existing relationship with TRIO, so I got them to do my custom tux. My wife and I already had our minds set on a Swan House wedding. Jordan made it happen. She and her team, along with many of the vendors we chose, have a lot of experience working together *and* working at the Atlanta History Center. So, for the most part, everything was quite easy. I think the hard part, at least for me as the groom, was decision-making on certain details (e.g. menu) and getting our guest list in order. In addition to securing the vendors that fit us best, Jordan and her team (including Sydney Woods and Gerard Wright) took care of so many details, I can't even begin to tell you; from reviewing and coordinating contracts and payments to little things on our wedding day, such as getting lip balm for my lips that were chapped from so much kissing. Jordan is a consummate professional. Simply put, Jordan exceeded our expectations and executed the wedding of our dreams. Check out our wedding trailer to see exactly what I mean: https://bit.ly/3laAY1h. Thank you, Jordan!

The unanimous response was "hire a day-of coordinator." My husband and I had already done a lot of the planning so we didn't need a wedding planner but the idea of someone else handling all of the details in the days leading up to and on the day of the wedding sounded like a great idea. Hiring Jordan and Kristen was one of the best decisions we made and some of the best money we spent on the wedding. They were with me all day as I was getting ready, ran interference on the couple of inevitable hiccups that happened with guests and wedding participants, ironed my dress one more time, made sure we ate, and even played chauffeur since the church and reception venue were so close that we hadn't hired outside transportation. Above all, these ladies were calm and professional throughout the entire event. I can't imagine a better team to hire to help with your wedding.

In fact, Toast Events was the only planner on our list that every single person- both friends and vendors, had only glowing reviews of. We literally could not find one person who had a bad word to say about TEAM Toast. It's a rare thing when you're admired, respected and well-liked by everyone that works with you (especially in high-stress situations) and we asked a LOT of people. To this day I've never heard a bad word about Lindsay and that remains remarkable to me and speaks volumes about her business. TOAST is polite, professional and has great relationships. There is no detail too small and they were incredibly creative with how they showcased our personalities at the wedding. They really made our dreams come to life and protected our vision throughout the entire process. The worst part of our wedding being over is 100% not being able to work with Lindsay every day.

Clearly we had to make alternative arrangements--and make them quickly. That's when we met Lindsay Sims and TOAST. In that incredibly short span of time, using her wide network of contacts, she and her team created a remarkable series of events...all of them at the height of the "season". She figured out logistics, found and filled gift bags, had itineraries and programs beautifully printed, persuaded our hotel to provide a private hospitality suite, made reservations for fabulous dinners (one at an exclusive club). She also arranged for us to drink champagne while viewing fireworks from the top of a mountain; to take a sleigh ride past a frozen river to a nighttime dinner at a cabin in the woods. She organized a splendid hair and make-up session before the ceremony. She hired exceptional musicians and a talented florist who filled the RIGHT church with beauty and joy. The reception was the perfect finale. One guest was so impressed that he wrote an article about it for a local magazine. Another said she had to pinch herself in order to realize the experience was actually happening--it felt like a dream. (Fortunately, the photographer was so skillful we have proof.) Through it all, there was NO stress; we were able to relax and savor every minute knowing that Lindsay had it under control....working with her was a true delight. Anyone who has the opportunity of using her services has been blessed.

HOW WE CONNECTED:We found Sumeta online while just browsing for full service wedding planners in the Southeast region. We reached out to her via her website and heard back very quickly! We were able to set up a consultation call to essentially go over what we are looking for and ensure we could be the right fit for each other. From the first call, Sumeta was so kind and sincere! It was clear she absolutely loves what she does and genuinely wants to celebrate your love and marriage. She was very inquisitive - she, of course, asked the basic questions about our wedding events and what services we were looking for - but she was the only planner who asked us some unexpected out-of-the-box questions, like what does celebrating love look like to us, what kind of experience did we want to have, what kind of experience did we want our guests to have, and how we want to tell/share our love story through our wedding. It wasn't just all business - she was genuinely most interested in us as a couple. We really appreciated her questions and just had a really good gut feeling upon ending our call. All I can say is always trust your instinct. We are so glad we did because this was the beginning of the best decision we made! After reviewing the different packages she offers, we decided to book Sumeta as our wedding planner for her full service package!  PLANNING PHASE:We started on a completely blank page -  we had no idea where we wanted it or which vendors we wanted to book, so we wanted to go the full service package route as we trusted that Sumeta would have the best contacts and be able to get us the best deals throughout the process. What we really appreciated the most during this phase was that we didn't just jump right into vendors and venue. Sumeta has a process. She wanted us to "dream" and really think about what was important to us. It was really fun to challenge ourselves to use our imagination and try to put into words what we visioned. She really wanted to understand where our hearts were before showing us any venues or introducing us to other vendors. She really did it all for us - venue, catering, photography, videography, decor, entertainment, photobooth, singer, etc - every single vendor we worked with we found through Sumeta. She would lead all calls and meetings, review contracts, and negotiate. We would simply explain what we were looking for and trusted her to bring us the best of the best, and she delivered with every single person we worked with.  WEDDING WEEK:Sumeta created the entire timeline for our wedding week. She worked with all of our vendors to share timings and ensure they knew where to be each day. She even met with all of our immediate family members to bring everyone on the same page of what to expect as well as share our expectations of them regarding any responsibilities and timeliness. Side note - she is awesome with family members and they all loved and respected her! During the wedding week, she is mainly behind the scenes ensuring everything is running smoothly. It's crazy how many hats she wears, but she wears them well! Despite everything that is going on, she would always make time to come see me during hair and makeup, she would always make sure to greet us before any of our entrances, she would check in with us throughout the event to make sure we were eating or that we always had a cocktail in hand, and she would even be there at the end of every event to make sure we were happy with everything. She even came to join us on the dance floor a few times, and it was soo special to us! I really don't know how she always found the time and energy to do all of it - seriously, she's superhuman. We always felt cared for! She also brought two additional assistants with her for the weekend, Alyssa and Sydney, and they were a true reflection of her! She really only works with the best people, and we always felt like we could just trust her entire team and enjoy our wedding weekend, as it always should be for every couple out there! POST WEDDING:Sumeta continued to work with us after the wedding to ensure all of our contracts and payments were closed out. She even continued to support us months later with photography and videography deliverables. She had always said that her role continues even after the wedding weekend. She believes in supporting her couples until they truly have closed out everything and have received all their deliverables.  Sumeta is simply the best! The work that she does is truly her calling. She genuinely believes in celebrating love and she will make the planning process actually fun. So many couples talk about how they hated the planning process, but we simply cannot relate - we loved planning with Sumeta and would recommend her every. single. time.
