The folks at A-Rod are fantastic! Our car was unfortunately broken into and parts were stolen, so our insurance sent us here. Someone from A-Rod routinely called us to keep us updated throughout the whole process. Shortly after I drove the car away from the shop, I noticed something seemed off about the car, so I brought it back. I was referred to A-Rod by my insurance company after my catalytic converter was stolen. Joaquin and the rest of the staff were professional and friendly. They set realistic expectations, warning me that they had to order parts and that it was possible they would take a little while to arrive. Soo.. I got into my first car accident since I've begun driving and although the damages were pretty minor, I don't think we could have found a better auto shop to go to. The manager, Alex, is super nice and professional also. They said I had to make an appointment to get an estimate on some minor body damage, and the only time they had available was the following week at 8am, otherwise they are booked out for another two weeks. I had to rearrange my schedule in order to comply. I showed up, but there's no record of my appointment. Someone took pics of the damage, took all my info and said they would send me an estimate later that day. A few days later I call asking for the estimate, I was told I'd receive it by the end of that day. They never sent me anything. What a waste of time!! read more

The autobody work part was great - they did a great job. The front office side of things was disorganized. This was an insurance job, they were going to get paid - but, as I do not deal with kind of stuff on a daily basis I was hoping for a little guidance of how everything is supposed to work. At the end of the day, I did not want to owe anything, as the claim was not my fault. I asked questions, and got different answers each time. For example, for the initial inspection, I was sent a check from the other person's insurance company to cover the claim. The check was lower than their initial quote, and the check was made out to me. As I was concerned that I would be paying the difference - I asked, what is going on? I received vague answers like, "don't worry about it" - "it will be covered" so I was not really sure what was going to happen. With the check, again, I was unsure what to do - do i sign it over to them? Do I deposit it? Again, no clear answer. When it came time to pay, the person at the counter told me, "no, you deposit it, then pay us...." I just wish they told me that from the beginning. This entire experience would have been amazing, if they just took a second to give me a clear procedure of what the steps are.... read more

With the understanding that it may take awhile to fix the car due to shipment delays during these unprecedented times, they were able to fix my bumpers and doors among other things in a timely manner and sooner than I had expected. I was referred to A Rod Auto Collision by Geico Insurance as a preferred vendor back in Feb, when someone hit my car. My car was hit front passenger side and needed repairs. The insurance adjuster went there and authorized repairs. We never received any calls re the status of work on the car, until I called. When we were told the car was ready for pickup, we went to get it. Upon seeing the car, we noticed that there was the repairs were not completed. We showed Alex, the owner, and he promised to get it fixed. A week went by and we got a call that the car was ready. When we went to pick it up, we noticed there was still damage. Alex said the part that was the replacement was damaged (why would he install a damaged "new" part). BUT when we compared the pix, we noticed he had not even changed it, it was the original that was damaged. In addition, we now had damage on the back bumper, which repaired & blamed on homeless folks riding on their lot. The 3rd time we went to get the car, we noticed all the repairs were still not completed and we were fed up. We took the car, called Geico and went somewhere else. The worst part was telling us that we got cheap insurance (wasn't even our insurance) and that's why the parts weren't OEM. He could have easily submitted a supplement requesting an OEM parts, if the after market didn't fit properly. This was a nightmare, that took over a month and wasn't even fixed. Back in September 2017, I was in a car accident that destroyed most of the rear end of my Nissan Rogue. I went to this body shop as it was recommended by my insurance company. Given the amount of damage, I can't really fault them too much on the quality in the end. Body panels were not aligned properly, and it was very much obvious it was in an accident and poorly put back together. I think they need to stick with smaller jobs for sure. They were in over their heads on this one. Throughout my 3 month repair process: - They continually kept improperly setting expectations for completion. At one point, I was told the car would be ready for pick up at the end of the week. That day came, hours before I am supposed to pick it up, turns out it hadn't even been painted. From there on out, they just kept saying "it will be ready next Friday" for the next month and a half. - They drove my car to the dealership (not tow) with a critical component of the hybrid system missing, the cooling system for the battery. Their carelessness showed in every aspect of this project. - They tried to return my car to me with trim pieces loose, screws missing from them, and had someone else's license plate bracket and frame on my car. For the trim pieces, Alex told me he could use double sided tape to secure them--I then found the missing screws. If you have a small job for them, it looks like most of their reviews are from that. If you have a large job, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The happy thing was I got my car 2 days earlier than the estimated day and I was surprised that they not only fixed my car but also washed and polished my car. I can't speak for how their prices are, etc. if you are going in for a repair that is not covered by insurance, but in my case I had 2 insurance-covered repairs - one with my insurance and one with someone else's (who was at fault in that case) - and A-Rod worked seamlessly with both and their adjusters so everything worked out very well. Staff (Chris Sanchez and Justin) are extremely nice and accommodating and make sure that everything is done professionally and to your satisfaction. After only a few months in my new Mercedes, I was backed into in a starbucks parking lot:( A-Rod had such good reviews all over the internet and their location was really convenient for me so I decided to take my car to them for the repairs instead of going with one of the shops in my insurances' network.
