Stephanie at a.salon was awesome! This was my first time visiting the salon, for my first post-quarantine, vaccinated haircut. The safety protocols were really reassuring: everyone was masked, it was not crowded, and they had everyone wash their hands when they first entered. They even had a separate cup for dirty pens so that people weren't using the same ones to sign their credit card slips. I used to come here with Jade she's great and gifted! But no longer there. But everybody's super friendly but my last time that I came here was with Monica she was really rough. I had wet shirt. Uneven hair. And very very slow worker. I wouldn't recommend her just yet. I feel like she need more experience for the amount of money I paid. but the salon itself is good. Just went to a.salon for the first time and could not have been happier with my experience. They have many measures in place to make sure it is safer during the pandemic (everyone wears a mask, you must wash hands upon arrival, have to be buzzed in, etc). After I checked in, I had my hair cut by Michelle, who was amazing. I usually am not very fussy about my hair and when I told that to Michelle, they walked me through the different options and what that meant for my hair shape, etc. I have never had that done before and was so appreciate of the extra time they spent. Very VERY happy with my end result after returning and having Tiffany give me the cut and style I was hoping for the first time! I am impressed with the salon owners and their willingness to help me, offering to have me come in and see their best stylist. Love love love how my hair turned out! Jade colored my hair and it came out super vibrant. Michelle did the hydrating treatment which left my hair feeling really soft and they also cut my hair. This space is absolutely gorgeous which is what originally drew me in from looking in the windows. Everyone was very progressional and organized which made me feel at ease. I got my hair cut by Michelle and she did a good job, I think. The only reason for the 4 stars is that Michelle seemed very nervous and not confident in herself which was odd. I tried to ask her questions about adding layers to my curly hair and if my hair was too dry, but she kept avoiding answering and saying "you know your hair better than anyone". Well that's true, but also you're the hair stylist and I want your advice.... so that was a little frustrating. Overall I did not get layers, but may need to add those in later if the cut doesn't turn out once I style it myself. But overall gorgeous place and would definitely return! read more

I was taken right away, had an incredible wash/cut/style and the stylists helped entertain my baby the whole time. I came in for the first time a few days ago for a balayage and a trim, and I will definitely be back. Natalia, the receptionist, was really warm and communicative, even though there were other clients waiting to pay/check in. Yvette did my balayage, and WOW! She took the time to discuss what I was looking for and listen to my concerns (I'm not naturally blonde, so my hair tends to get brittle and dry), and I walked out with the exact shade I wanted. I got a haircut here recently and it wasn't a good experience. They weren't responsible with Covid precautions. There were 4 people getting their hair cut at the same time, and they sat all of us in a row right next to each other--and the chairs are definitely not 6 ft apart. It was really strange they didn't even try to space us out, because there was a whole other side of cutting stations that were sitting empty. There were several hair dryers going at once, spreading the air around. There was no working soap dispenser in the bathroom, and no hand sanitizer. On top of that the haircut was not good; I asked for a U-shaped cut in the back and the stylist cut it in a straight line instead. I would give it another chance with a different stylist, but I definitely won't go back during Covid. read more
