I believe in supporting small…read morebusinesses and by all measures support this wonderful man. 3 yrs ago my 70 yr old brother-in-law that needs a bit of help to navigate things from time to time lives at a senior apartment in Marion. He doesn't get out much. So we learned of this fellow thru his wife a receptionist at the apartment house. He came to his apartment and cut it there. Oh he was all smiles! Fast forward we think his hair had not been cut since maybe 1 time? We are out of state. So I reached out again. His hair was past his shoulders and the beard..it was keeping up! He doesn't have a car anymore so he doesn't want to be a bother. He has some important health related appointments coming up and wanted to look nice. He got some lousy news earlier and it's going to be a tough road ahead. I asked for before and after. OMG!! He looks amazing. He is just super kind and compassionate and told us to just call him anytime. There are still wonderful, kind and compassionate people in this world. I think we found a rare gem. There's a big age gap between these two guys, but Teruan must have been super patient and sweet, bc B-I-L just was happy and excited. If you need a business that is honest, kind, compassionate and takes a gentle touch with an older guy with some big barber needs why look any place else?? I know you were "just doing your job" but to him it was sooo much more. Yelp only does 5 so this is my rating! 10 stars!! The smile says it all! Thank you Teruan!!!

Sorry, Eric - going to have to disagree with you on this one…read more It's an honor to sit in Gary's chair and hear of how he defended our country, even if I have heard the same stories a few times. I got my hair cut from Gary throughout my time at Taylor. In short, I am getting married in a couple weeks and naturally went to this follicle specialist in prep. After the cut, i felt manlier for hearing old war stories, albeit at the expense of our fallen soldiers' dismemberments. I reach into my wallet and he tells me it's his wedding gift, and to come back a couple days before the wedding if i need to trim up. I like to think a good haircut is only as good as the person who makes it happen, and for that reason you should stop by 219 N. Main St. You can't miss it. There are four buildings in town.

The barber had no concern for my dad's health and had him keep it off the entire time. The barber didn't wear a mask either. I hope my dad doesn't get sick the next 2 weeks just for a haircut : (.
