Right in the middle of City Market, this little gallery is fantastic. I ended up coming here twice during my last visit. The people working here are very laid back and knowledgeable, and encourage you to take your time to browse. It is all very contemporary and there are lots of things to love. I ended up buying a print by Melissa Moss, but I know I will be back the next time I am in town, as there were a couple of Seth Pitt prints that I could not decide between. I was visiting Savannah for the weekend. One of the things to do in my list was city market. I was strolling in the market, going into all the stores and I went in here as well. It's a quirky gallery showcasing a variety of creative art. They also have some jewelry and other trinkets. The artists in here are either local or from another state. The lady in the store is very nice. She answered all my questions and gave me some suggestions too. I liked the artist - James dean, I got a nice piece of art from that artist's work. On my Savannah trip, I stopped by this gallery three times because we often pass by the City Market. Eventually, I pulled the trigger and purchased three Robots and Rowboats tiles (prints) by Lauren Briere. I had never felt so compelled to buy a piece of art in a store. It's just so cute! There's a deal if you buy three. You can feel the emotion of the robot in all different environments. There are a ton more options on her site. I picked up the watering can art, the giraffe and the golf one for my partner. You can also buy it from her website; her art is priced slightly lower on her site. However, we saved a little bit from shipping costs from purchasing in-store. The store reps know a lot about some artists and are passionate about the art pieces. read more

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the quirkiness and pop-culture vibe of this art gallery. Lots of fun and creative paintings that are both great gifts and fun collectable pieces for self! The walls within the gallery have sections painted different colors to help indicate the works of different artists... kinda like an art consignment shop. Great conversation pieces for your home as guests search through the familiar painted images trying to remember names of characters and personalities they may not have thought about in decades. For example, one of his pieces titled "Child of the 80's" groups K.I.T.T, the Knight Rider car, Slimer from Ghostbusters, PACMAN, an Ewok, the old MTV logo, Max Headroom, ET, The Dancing Raisins, Alf and even the Gopher from the movie Caddy Shack as just a few examples of dozens of icons from the era! I meant to leave some love for this gallery awhile back and didn't get around to it until now. The woman who was working there was absolutely lovely and took her time to chat with me, and we both agreed that we particularly loved the work of one artist whose work was being sold there, Brigitte Pirlot. Brigitte takes old books and repurposes them into works of art that tell a different story. They have a witchy, fairy, fantastical, and cottagecore vibe to them that really spoke to me. She also sells pendants in the same style, so her work is available across price ranges. The artists represented in the gallery vary in style, there's definitely something for everyone and the staff don't mind you coming in just for a look! read more

First of all, we walked in with casual clothes and drinks in our hands and were treated with the same respect and friendliness as a seasoned art collector. That was huge (I look like I'm 12, so usually don't get treated like a potential customer). Also, the lady at the counter was more than happy to fan girl about Pete the Cat with me and was super helpful with telling us all about several artists. I left with a James Dean print that is now a prized possession and a greater appreciation for modern artists. Love this place and can't wait to go back! read more

Awesome place to purchase local artists' work. They also sell prints of the originals, sculptures and jewelry. This place was awesome, the clerk made the experience over the top awesome. She started up a conversation with me and discussed the artist And was genuinely interested in assisting customers. The art itself is quite pricey, of course because they're original art works. Some of the prints are on the higher site too, some larger matted prints were $60-80. I purchased a matted 5"x7" for $40. This gallery was awesome, it was unlike a lot of other galleries that sell developing artists attempts at famous masterpieces. I loved the colorful original works. I highly recommend visiting if you are in historic Savannah and looking for some exciting art for your home. read more

The vibe is very relaxed and not at all stuffy, which I love. They accept credit cards, offer a layaway program, and will ship pieces home for you. My husband and I recently visited from Raleigh and fell in love with a piece here, visiting three times before ultimately purchasing it. April gave us great background information on the artist whose work we were admiring, made us feel very comfortable as we contemplated our purchase (always ready to answering questions but also giving us the time and space we needed) and was just all around a lovely person to interact with. We decided to utilize their layaway program which was easy and will allow us to make monthly payments over the phone. Instead of having it shipped, we're excited to plan a return trip to pick up James Dean painting we purchased and look forward to displaying it in our home. Highly recommend this gallery. Not your grandma's art gallery. Seriously, I love this gallery. It's fun, eclectic and full of interesting little treasures. A true gem located in downtown Savannah. I found this off-beat little gallery/retail shop while searching for something else entirely while shopping along Saint Julian Street. I literally just happened upon it. I'm so glad that I did. What a find! The owner is friendly, personable and is willing to give special deals on merchandise. I found one of my favorite pieces of artwork here, a pastel chalk drawing that I believe was done by the owner. Another piece I picked up here for a song is a black and white pen and ink drawing by a lesser-known Savannah artist that I wouldn't part with for anything, even though it could be construed as a little "dark" in tone. I even have an A.T. Hun t-shirt, though by now it's riddled with bleach stains, but I won't throw it out. If you want something unique to adorn your walls, this is the place. Plenty of Savannah's best artists, known or not, have their works featured here. Good prices, great selection, and unique wares, and customer service that is beyond reproach. There's such a nice vibe once you step inside. Music playing in the background, the owner whipping up some cool new piece, customers chatting with each other about anything that moves them. What caught my eye were the paintings of scenes from the movie "The Big Lebrowski" and what kept me inside ooohhhing and awwwwhhhing for at least an hour were all the fantastic paintings, odds and ends, and fabulously unique and expertly crafted works of art! I'm also a sucker for cats and "Pete the Cat" paintings and merchandise was in there and I snatched up some goodies right away! "The Dude" shirt is THE shirt to get to commemorate your visit to Savannah, the magnets are also hilarious ;), and the fantasy paintings by Fian Arroyo are mesmerizing :o! Overall, a must-see and shopping location in Savannah, GA and definitely one of the highlights of my trip! Lastly, the young woman working in there was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable and she gave me the perfect advice for my newly bought art prints which will help them look great framed! Boy & I stopped in here while waiting for our carriage tour to start. His mother complained we didn't have enough art on the walls of the apartment. We haven't been busting it to improve that. There were a wide range of artists and styles. The owner was in there and enthusiastically talking to another customer about his inspirations. I immediately fell in love with the Pete the Cat pieces. I'm a sucker for a good story and cats. The artist had both. The real pieces were way out of our price range (not to mention how to get them home), so we settled on a print of Pete sitting in the Mona Lisa's lap. Just enough tongue in cheek. The woman working the counter had a great sense of humor (and accent). She and the owner were poking fun at each other. I like a workplace like that. I think the artists rotate in and out. I would be happy to stop in here again to shop for more art. read more

My brother got me a big print of Walter yelling "mark it zero!". Its an impressive piece for my guest bedroom, keeps people on their toes.
