Our waiter, who grew up in Lisbon spoke excellent English, and was very patient, friendly and helpful throughout our entire meal. This made it especially enjoyable. We tried and the risotto with cockles, the cod, the gyoza, and seabass. I didn't care much for the gyoza in a chestnut cream, but I really liked the cockles. Both fish items were fresh and we'll presented. The decor and ambiance was nice, but the prices and small portions were very similar to what you'd find in the States at a higher end restaurant. There was also a tasting menu, as well, but we weren't up for a long drawn out meal tonight. We enjoyed it here, but would've enjoyed it more, if the restaurant was busier, which would've given it a nice buzz.

The dining hall is small and the ambience and the decor is eclectic but manages to be cozy and nice. The server was very efficient though she was very busy. The food we had was super and the Portuguese rice with duck was just delicious and filling. So was the bacalhau ( cod). Bottom line- recommended if you ever happen to pass this way.
