Checked website following Sunday to check still for sale, it was. Went on again 45 minute trip on sunday. Don't do test drives at weekends we were told by the guy who was there. Ok we thought, on reflection we should have called first. Phoned on Tuesday to arrange a test drive of the car for the next day. I asked do we need an appointment was told no just call in. We went on today first thing this morning to be told they aren't able to do a test drive today. Told him I called last night and was told it would be ok. Who did I speak too he asked. I didn't get the guys name, we have driven over from nelson and this is the second time we have tried for a test drive I told him. He might be able to sort something out later in the day he said to me. Told him I had taken a day off work to come over, we had phoned for a test drive. Well he was afraid there wasn't anything he could do because he was on his own. How many attempts are you expected to make for a garage to be able to sell you a car. Our 3rd and final visit to this garage. Their loss on a sale of a car. For a garage not to do test drives at the weekend is unbelievable, even more astonishing is when you try to arrange a test drive they let you down. Their loss will be another garages gain.
