I highly recommend A Touch of Magic Entertainment! Tonight we had a really fun event with Lori from A Touch of Magic Entertainment. From exploring the many wonderful options on their website, to working with Lori to find the best option for our event, she made it interesting and easy. The contract was clear and I appreciated a "day of call" just to make sure we had all our questions answered. We had about 30 Cub scouts, aged 6-11 who all learned to twist balloons into animals and other shapes. Lori helped prep the adult helpers and easily managed to help each child just when they needed it. There were some pretty special smiles after learning a new skill. We had a lot of excited scouts and with so many other entertainment options available from A Touch of Magic Entertainment, we look forward to exploring more options for future scout events. read more

We hired Touch Of Magic for my son's birthday balloon art and to say we were pleased in an understatement. The pre-planning and communication was very organized with clear expectations. During the party they built amazing balloon creations for 14 kids and even made a special extra for our birthday boy and threw in some comedy during the waiting. We hired A touch of magic for our grandsons 1st birthday party. They were wonderful! they knew how to speak to him to keep him engaged, they were funny and she did these wonderful face painting in the pictures all in under 5 minutes. We were so happy with them we're hiring them for our granddaughters 3rd birthday party. We paid for extra kids to come to the party and because they didn't show she did the adults that were ohh too anxious to get their faces painted! Wow oh wow is all I can say. Lori completely exceeded our expectations. I found her last minute to do a singing telegram for our co-founder at our company All Hands meeting and she was amazing. She was so helpful throughout the booking process and very patient when I was trying to find out more information. In conversation with her she mentioned that we could start out with a prank and I am so so happy she suggested it. She entered our company meeting as an "integration consultant" that was recommended by our CEO. Let me tell you, our co-founder's face was less than amused - especially since this was not on the agenda. However, he is one of the nicest people so we went along with the whole thing and kept things very positive as Lori said gibberish about integration. There was a part where she told us to be a cactus- I was dying laughing while everyone else seemed very confused. Then after her speech she broke out into a customized song about him. It was so well done and the whole company was just in awe of the whole performance. Non stop compliments to Lori about how she fooled everyone and how on point her song was. The entertainment I hired were each masters and amazing at what they brought to this event. The two caricature artists were very good at what they did and Jonnie was so good at getting people engaged early on. A few minutes after guests started to arrive she picked up her pad and paper and went out into the crown a got people engaged. Once people started they came continuously and the guests were pleased with the outcome. The silly servers were a huge hit! So good at being weird, quirky, yet not obvious, over the top or embarrassing to anyone. Watching people's expressions at their shenanigans was priceless! The reveal at the end of fun. I was a bit skeptical to start, but now I'd recommend them to anyone. I am now a fan! The highlight of the whole evening hands down was the magician. John made me believe in magic! Seriously, he has to have actual magical powers! Incredible! If there is any way he fits into anything I plan in the future, I will hire him! read more

My experience with A Touch of Magic has been amazing. Lori was so good at helping me understand the types of entertainment available and choosing the right one for my group. The show was incredible!! Touch of Magic performed another amazing show with Oscar & Half Pint at my nephew's birthday celebration. Oscar and Half Pint are truly amazing as they capture the heart of the young and young at heart. The show, no matter how many times you see, is truly full of laughs, entertainment, and lots of smiles! The have the children engaged and participating in no time as they play back and forth with each other in their comical skit. Than after their show, you must get their amazing balloons and incredible face painting. I have watched Mixed Nuts several times and every time I laugh so hard I can't stop. I could watch them over and over again and I am an adult! Watching the kids laugh it makes me feel great and I'm laughing right along with them. I never get tired of them because this is comedy at its best. A Touch of Magic was hired to entertain, mystify and perform in varying forms, for my son's high school all night graduation celebration in North St. Paul. He came home and talked to us for at least an hour about the hypnotist, and the hilarity that followed. He had a blast! Lori is phenomenal! We hired this company with only days to spare before the event, and they were truly amazing from start to finish. We had Lori and she is truly so talented, and so professional. A Touch of Magic worked our first annual Dia de Los Muertos Family Festival and their work completely blew everyone away. Their customer service is impeccable, kind, warm, and welcoming. They are extremely professional and fun - a balance that is not achieved by most. The quality of their work is absolutely unbelievable. We set out to paint the faces of about 100 kids in a 3 hour period, they were able to paint over 200 faces in that time. That is AMAZING CREATIVE INSANITY. I hired them for my daughter's birthday party and never have I seen bigger smiles and giggles from the kids and my daughter! I decided to pay more money for a better entertainer and WOW! Every penny was worth it. It made such a huge difference having someone with such experience and really, really funny entertainer for the kids! She was very easy to work with and just "knew" exactly what little comedy skits to do to really entertain the kids. My daughter STILL talks about that birthday party years later. I have used that company many times since that date and when you find a company like this one, you keep them at the top of your files for any type of event. I have recommended them for other kids parties, company picnics, fundraiser events and anything you need a family entertainer for. They have such a variety of entertainers. They always show up with a smile and are very easy to work with. I just want you to know that I have hired cheaper entertainers before this company, and they did ok and I learned my lesson of hiring the cheapest.
