Truth or Consequences is a pretty small town, and for me at least, there really isn't a lot there! Yes it was renamed after the TV show in 1950. The original name was Hot Springs. All the City history is chronicled at http://www.torcfiesta.com/past-fiestas ... but back to the Cactus Ranch. The place is not huge, but if you are driving through stop and stretch your legs and check out some exotic cactus and just plain weird plants! It is fun and enlightening and free!
