Lewis Murray Tire appeared closed, but we decided to give them a quick call (the signs said 24/7 service) and were connected to the nicest woman who promised to get someone down to the shop within the hour. She personally arrived with David who got our tire patched and helped us get on our way safely. Probably a little pricy for the late night service but worth every penny to avoid getting the donut spare put on by AAA! We called them when we left to let them know we were on the way. They close at 5pm. Arrived there at 4:40 pm. We inspected our unit and found that some of the seals were done very sloppy. So we said something to them about it. Two of the employees began to fix it. The owner came out and yelled at his wife and told her to leave and go to her event, pointed at the other employee and told him to go inside and do his job, and then turned and pointed at me, a female, and told me I could come back another day and get my camper. Let's just say it went down hill from there! How the owner acted was very unprofessional and we will NEVER use them again! If you own a business and have employees who work for you, then you need to double check behind them to make sure the job is done correctly! When you don't then you are responsible for fixing the mistake even if it's after hours!

The Manager sent me to Wishes Auto Body in Lake City to get a quote and have it repaired. I took it there and met with one of the brothers I later found out was a painter not a mechanic. He told me his brother would order the part needed. 2 weeks went by, no call nothing. I called and spoke the the 2nd brother and he had no idea what I was even talking about. Part came in, scheduled repair. Once there we were told there was another part that needed replacing and they wanted to do a complete evaluation prior to ordering. I was also told by the second brother the first brother told me this. Never happened, he obviously lied to his brother. No big deal, I wasn't paying for it. Scheduled evaluation for today so they could order the right part I guess. My wife brings the truck in. They wind up repairing the truck without ordering the part they said they needed. I asked them why it wasn't repaired the first time we were there if it didn't need the 2nd part. The 2nd brother said because it needed to be taken apart. Now I was pissed. The 1st visit to repair it I was told when they took it apart they realized they needed the 2nd part. If that was not the case why am I wasting time and gas. I tried to explain to the 2nd brother they had it apart already ON THE LAST VISIT. He continuously spoke over me and wouldn't let me explain what had happened and why it was not making any sense. Then he hangs up on me. I called back several times for over an hour and they are now ignoring my phone calls. NOONE HERE KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING! THEY ARE RUDE, TREAT CUSTOMERS LIKE SHIT AND CAN'T EVEN LISTEN TO THE CUSTOMER WITHOUT HIDING BEHIND A TELEPHONE. I am tempted to go down there, but I don't need to spend the night in jail.

My family and I were over 350 miles from home on a camping trip at Suwannee River Rendezvous when our Denali suddenly started running horribly just as we were heading out to the springs. After a quick stop at O'Reilly's to pull the codes (which didn't help much), I asked for a recommendation, and they pointed me to J&W. I'm SO glad they did. I rolled in around 3:15 PM on a Wednesday, explained our situation, and let them know we had to be on the road by the next morning. Most shops would've either turned us away or seen us as an opportunity to charge a premium, knowing we were in a bind. But not J&W. They got us in immediately, diagnosed the issue, fixed it, and had us back on the road by 4:30--just over an hour later! The price was incredibly fair, the service was honest, and the kindness they showed us was unforgettable. Thanks to J&W, our family trip was saved and we were able to enjoy the rest of our time without a hitch. I truly hope I never have car trouble on a camping trip again--but if I do, I know exactly where I'm going. Highly, highly recommend!

This after Discount Tires in Lake City referred me to them, because their corporate policy didn't allow them to touch the bolts on my struts, which were removed and then tightened to change out my wheel bearings.

Brought my vehicle, Old Blue, in for evaluation. Had a pinion seal leak and what sounded like a…read morebearing noise. After evaluation I was charged $178 for this inspection and the estimate of repairs . I was told they had topped off the axle gear oil after I specifically asked them to do so. They said my truck needed $2800+ in repairs. This included replacing every part they would touch doing the axle bearing and seal repair Plus all bearings and other associated parts in the rear axle and seal repair. This included rear brake pads and rotors, both U-Joints and all differential bearings as well as the axle bearings. I took the truck to a well established local shop, which does not do axle/rear differential work, which I had trusted for years, to replace the U-joints, which was one of the items Johnnys said needed replacement. They were fine and needed no service. I asked about the axle gear oil. They checked it. IT TOOK 2 PINTS TO FILL IT. Johnnys not only furnished a greatly inflated estimate and charged me for such, they lied about topping off the gear oil. Then charged me to lie to me. NEVER USE THESE people. THEY are TOTAL CROOKS !!
