We chose them for our home inspection and…read morethe report we received noted the HVAC was 19 years old and recommended a licensed contractor to check the unit due to the age. We followed the advice and spent money to do this. The result - the inspector made an error and it was only 9 years old, not 19, and worked fine. We contacted Haystack to let them know and ask for a refund on the costs we spent as a direct result of their reporting error. We were told no, and only after they saw negative reviews did they apologize and agree to refund us the money we spent due to their mistake if we removed our review. We did. Once we closed on the home, we wanted to do some gardening. When we turned on the outside spiqot, we realized there was a leak and it damaged our interior wall and flooring. This was an item which was supposed to be checked according to the home inspection. When we contacted Haystack, we were instructed to file a claim. We are out the money we spent on a licensed plumber to fix the leak and are now in need of additional repairs to the drywall and the flooring. Still no resolution from Haystack or even apology. Horrible - very disappointed.
