They are open daily, 9 am to 10 pm (8 pm Sunday). They have a large private parking lot. Look for the Dairy Queen next door. The staff is friendly and knowedgeable. The store is spacious with ordering kiosks and attractive displays. Their website is straightforward and well-organized, with lots of information. Online ordering is easy. Visa and MasterCard are accepted for payment, as well as debit cards and cash, with ATM's on the premises. Queen City has one of the largest selection of products in the area, competitive pricing, and regular sales and promotions. The member rewards program rebates you 5-10% on future purchases, with 20% off your first purchase when enrolling, which is free. Senior citizens get an additional 15% discount on everything. Plainfield is also an urban enterprise zone where NJ state sales tax is charged at half the normal rate of 6.625%. All of this mitigates the high prices for cannabis in NJ, and makes shopping here appealing.

There is yoru typical security person there checking your ID and though my out-of-state license was not scanning there was no worry here. They did what they needed to do to get it into the system and in this case it meant bringing it to the scanner at the main checkout desk. As for selection, I was looking for an Escape Artists branded cream for someone I know and this seemed to be possibly the only place in NJ that had it! So, at least on this front, they were an amazing find. As for value, they seemed to actually be almost inline to what I was used to so that worked out well too.

All of Breakwater's wide variety of products are made in house and they are consistently fresh and of the highest quality, purity, and potency. I tried the other big cannabis, multi-state dispensaries and found their products lacking; dried out flower, hash rosin that was crystallized instead of buttery, and you have to argue about every discount. I went to Breakwater Cranbury yesterday, medical sales only (they have medical and recreational at their Roselle store). They are having a fantastic sale that's going on until February 15, where they stacked all of their discounts without my even having to ask. I saved 42 percent on my order! That means a $400 order cost me just $240! No tax! THIS is why I stay with medical only and Breakwater only! Breakwater is the best by far of any ATC in New Jersey.
