Very experienced, down to earth team of instructors with a good sized class and a lot of one on one help. Definitely would recommend A2Z.

I did my CBT here in July 2015, and it was a lot of fun. The team of instructors are great, and were very helpful throughout the course. I would return to A2Z for my A licence, and any other training I need. read more

I did my CBT here. Even though it was a freezing January 8AM Saturday start, it was a lot of fun. Great instructors and team, very helpful throughout the entire day. I learnt a lot, got back on a bike for the first time in years, and now have my CBT! I was lucky and was only with one other guy for the training, which I'm sure helped, but I have no doubt they could teach a group of twenty equally well. I'll be returning to A2Z for my A licence, and any other training I need. read more

First class, and professional throughout. I did the CBT and then the Direct Access Course to get a full license, and from beginning to end it was everything they promised. Tina was great with communication and admin, and worked with me to accommodate a difficult schedule. Ozzy and his team doing the CBT were all ex-military, paratroopers and marines, with decades of experience, and they were great at giving clear instructions and working with all kinds of people. I had some riding experience, but 20 years ago on a learner bike, and I was very pleased that they helped me regain my confidence and quickly recognised that I didn't need every last bit of the basic training in the CBT, and worked with me to get my confidence back. I was very impressed with the direct and honest way they dealt with another rider whose skills didn't match his ambitions, and they obviously had his best interests at heart in helping him to adjust his ambitions to his ability. When I moved on to the Direct Access Course, I had Shane as an instructor, and couldn't have asked for anyone better. He was patient, clear, and having been an examiner in the past, brought an insiders view to the whole testing process. I liked the way they took us regularly to the test centre, and got us familiar with the roads around there, and also the atmosphere inside. That meant that when the day came, there were no surprises, and I'm grateful to have got through first time. I met others who were retesting after making unfortunate mistakes on the day, but they seemed, like me, to have been thoroughly impressed with their training and the friendly banter. By the end of what was a very short course, it seemed like we were all leaving as friends. Well done Tina, Ozzy, Shane, and "Fluffy" -- yes, that's what they call him, but he's about 6'3" and an ex marine, so I guess he get's to be called what he wants! read more

I renewed my CBT with A2Z almost a year ago then went on to do DAS with a different school unfortunately had a bad experience then failed my Mod 1 and did not continue. After building my confidence back up over the year (on my faithful scooter with L plates) I went with A2Z for a 4-day DAS course and what a difference! All my apprehension and nervousness, fear of making mistakes and being told off, were all wiped away. Ossie took me through everything like I was new student, explained what to be aware of and what to know without waiting for me to make the mistakes on the road and correct me then; he just got it all out of the way. Each day made me more confident, no question was ever a stupid question, no bad habits couldn't be fixed and no mistakes couldn't be fixed for the next time. He armed me with everything I needed to know and instilled a lot of good methods. I went on to do both tests on Tuesday 28 May and was done by 10.30am PASSED! So excited to be picking up my Kawasaki Versys 650 today!! Thank you Ossie and Tina a true family run and close knit friendly neighbourhood business. If you can get to north London, go with A2Z Rider Training. read more

The negative reviews here are as far away from my experience as it is possible to get. I went to A2Z to do my CBT on a manual bike. As it was my first time on any bike I think I was slightly optimistic about getting out on the road first time. I didn't feel ready and at the end of the day safety is their main priority. I was disappointed but in retrospect it was for the best. Second time I passed and got my CBT in October 2012. I wanted to do my DAS before Jan because of the new law meaning I would have to wait until I was 27 before taking my DAS I'm 22, I wasn't prepared to wait 5 years. Ozzy, the DAS teacher, was patient, informative and forgiving I did drop his bike so he could have been mad. I passed my DAS in November 2012. The whole operation was run smoothy by Ozzy's beter half who supplied me with all relevant data and kept everything as easy as possible. A great experience throughout, and the important thing is, with the quality and intense training your confidence on the bike builds nicely. I would recommend anyone in London to learn here. Cheers Ozzy and family for everything! read more

I originally took my CBT with A2Z 2 years ago and thought they were good. I initially selected them because they were local and did CBT's on the weekends. When I decided to do DAS they were my immediate choice. Tina takes the bookings and is extremely polite and professional. Before booking a course, Tina asked me to pop in one Sunday and Ossie checked my standard of riding. This to me is customer care. They then recommended the 4 days course which was done on a Wed/Thu/Fri and Sun, all in one week. This was followed by the two tests the following week which Ossie accompanies you to and gives you warm up time before the test. Ossie is methodical in his approach. The Sunday is spent at the test centre getting to know the level 1 routine. Ossie knows the pit falls, works on these and then applies the right mix general and specific training to best prepare and to give you the best chance of passing. The rest is down to you. In my opinion, they are a great family run business dedicated to their customers. I would highly recommend them. read more

Just completed a rapid-fire CBT followed by DAS course with A2Z Rider Training a very enjoyable experience and to be recommended to anyone contemplating going for their bike full test. My CBT instructor Jackson was very pragmatic and covered all the basics that we needed to know in a very clear and concise way. I have to say my DAS instructor Ossie was fantastic stern when he needed to be to stress the dangers of what we were doing but at the same time always ready to give praise if merited. This teaching style combined with a friendly overall manner and the fact that he takes time to familiarise the student with the test area is a winning combination I was sure I wasn't going to get the test over and done with in one go, but I did and moreover feel confident enough to head out and improve on my own. A great combination, will definitely recommend to friends who want to do the same. Tina is also very organised on the administration front, and explained everything to be done in just enough detail. Nice job all ! read more

Quick note to say how grateful I am for AtoZ's hard work getting me through my CBT and DAS. Very impressed with the very small class sizes (2 including me on DAS) and this really helped in the long run to ride to a high standard and sail through both my DAS Module 1 & Module 2 first time. What works really well is the personal approach and actual desire for students to pass first time around plus the coaching/mentoring is certainly focused this way. It was also great that you use brand new bikes (both CBT and DAS) and they are a pleasure to ride. If anyone is considering price matching then what you don't realise is that you are receiving high quality tuition that will get you through first time. I can see this in hindsight when talking to a friend who went to a different place. I highly recommend this family run business and am planning on coming back for the Advance Rider Programme when the weather improves. Thanks very much Ozzie & Tina. read more

Simply a fantastic experience! I did my CBT with A2Z and was hooked. They accommodated my request to do my CBT on a geared bike and Tina is so friendly and helpful. I think at one time I asked so many questions our phone conversation must have lasted 20 minutes but she was very understanding. I passed my DAS first time and its all down to A2Z. The training course layout is perfect building your skills and confidence as the course goes on and they can tailor the course to your level of experience. Ozzie the instructor is very friendly and a good laugh he made the whole course great fun. He has a great gift for explaining the theory in a way that quickly sinks in and therefore can quickly be put into practice. I would recommend these guys to anyone and will certainly come back for my advanced training once I have got a big bike and built up some experience. Thank you. read more

I disagree with a negative comments. Instructors were really professional, and also they are the riders, with a sense of humour, which is part of a riding life. And I DID NOT get a CBT certificate from a first attempt, and I had to come a second time. It took me longer cos I was doing it on a geared 125cc.. They saw that I need more practice before going on the road, and I trusted them. I didn't panicked or blamed them, as you train not to save money, but for your safety. You will earn quickly everything what you spend on the training if you will be safe on the road, if not, you will not get a chance to spend the money you just saved. TRAIN TO BE SAFE, it doesn't matter how many days you need. Don't blame instructors. I really happy I've choosen A2Z, as after CBT, I went for A2, and I passed it in a first attempt. Big thanks to O & T, and all A2Z team. read more

I've just passed my DAS M1 & M2 tests following a 4 day tuition course with A2Z Rider Training. With A2Z I felt in great hands, they were very patient and I felt they balanced pushing me to progress with keeping a strong watch over my safety. I could feel Ossie adapting his teaching style to suit my style of learning and both He and Tina have been on hand from the beginning of my CBT to answer any queries and concerns. A2Z put you through both M1 & M2 tests on the same day, and you learn the skills to progress on the M1 test (slow riding etc) whilst out on the open road. I really benefited from practising the M1 test at the test centre prior to the day something not all of the other schools offer. They've taken me from CBT to DAS in 2 3 months and they also let me pay for the course / tuition in instalments. A very positive experience overall. read more

I just finished my DAS with A2Z and highly recommend this friendly family-run school. Tina who you are likely to run into first handles the administrative side of the business and is very friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable about the practical aspects of the business and genuinely interested in your training. They were initially booked out for all of June but were kind enough to inform me as soon as there was an opening and event moved things around a bit to accommodate my schedule. Ossie is the no-nonsense instructor that I trained with for my DAS. I'll keep it simple. If you do as Ossie says you cant possibly fail either of the tests. He's functional, knows when to let you take control and quick to step in when you need it. A very positive experience overall. read more

From the first phone call to Tina it was a wonderful professional and great experience. Jan was great and Tony took me out for the ride. In fact the entire team was amazing through basic skills training to helpful road reminders. Got my CBT first try I'm super stoked and anyone planning on getting rider training A2Z are awesome. I feel so stoked and well equipped to do gear conversion course and every other training they have. Great Teachers are hard to find. So better believe I will be coming back for more. Honestly these guys have a calm, honest and experienced way of simplifying everything. Excellent school and no matter what borough I lived in you can't get reaching of this caliber. There are so many training centres online when you look so it's tough to decide who to go with! I went with A2Z and I'm so pleased I did. Ossie is an excellent teacher who as other reviewers have noted balances encouragement and fun learning with realistic and firm advice when it comes to the crucial safety aspects. In the past I've had male teachers who aren't so great at relating to women not the case here as Ossie is brilliant. He is really honest about your level and I felt in safe hands all the way through. He's organised, clear, personable and both he and Tina are lovely people. I've now passed both modules so ready to hit the road, feeling confident. Thanks A2Z, really couldn't have done it without you! x read more

Hi I'm Stef Palmiero I have just passed my DAS module 1 and 2, first time, after having done a 4 day course with Ossie at A2Z. I cant speak more highly of A2Z. I passed my CBT in May 2013 and DAS first time in July 2013. I had no experience on a bike, but after the amazing guidance and instructions from A2Z i feel confident and ready to be on a motorbike. It s a great family run school. Everything is done at your comfortable pace, in a calm friendly way, but your pushed when you need to be. I will recommend anyone to A2Z, so much so, I have just bought the same motobike Ossie rides. Thank you so much, couldn't be happier. Stef read more

Hi, Jamie Garden here. I completed my CBT with a2z the other month, then booked a direct access course. I then sat my module 1 and 2 and passed first time. The training at a2z was really good and I would highly recommend anybody thinking of learning to ride a bike to use this company. Ozzie and Tina are massively competent and professional and Ozzie is a great teacher. The course is structured to build your skill and confidence bit by bit and not only get you past your tests, but make sure you are safe on the roads and have a good understanding of the principles of riding. I can't recommend this company enough. J. read more

A2z Rider training Outstanding. Firstly, Tina she's makes booking the right course simple. Very friendly and polite, even if you don't book, call her for a chat, she's lovely! Ossie outstanding teacher. He doesnt make you feel nervous about weak areas, he gives you encouragement as and when it's needed. He doesn't give you his life story of how he started riding either, the time is well spent on learning to ride! And yes, I passed I cannot reccomend A2Z riding training enough, they are the top end of motorcycle training with a very friendly attitude. Highly Reccomended. read more

i personally found the instructors to be informative, easy going and great to deal with. They were amazing teachers and took me from never riding a bike to a A2 licence in less than 2 months. I personally cant agree with the negative comments they were amazing. London's roads are dangerous and if you have been failed its because your not safe.. i was giving specific instructions and was coached to success. I highly recommend it and they are honest with your driving so if its bad they will tell you and help you improve and that's what you need in order to pass as i did read more

I just passed my DAS test with A2Z, and I would not have done it without the calm, patient, knowledgable, funny and caring training of Ozzie, who trained me over my 5 day course. I'd never riden a geared bike, or 1 with so much power (I'd ridden a twist & go 125 for 4 years) and Ozzie guided me every step of the way. Tina on the phone is wonderful too, so thoughtful and helpful. A2Z train you for your Module 1 AND 2 tests on the same day which means you take your Module 1 with so much bike knowledge you won't fail your M1 the A2Z way! Ruth, 32, Hackney read more

Well, it wouldn't be possible to praise Ossie's teaching style enough. A great company ethos, great service, great support, and I passed both modules in fine style, on first attempt. Having now spent some time in the motorbike world I see that Ossie is a really highly respected instructor. He's firm but fair which you need when your safety is in his hands. He's also really understanding of the quirks of human differences so doesn't push you beyond what he knows you can handle. I'm so glad I found him! I honestly don't understand the negative reviews here, they seem to be frustrated comments from people who failed their test Anyway, I did my CBT with a2zridertraining and all went very well so I came back to them for my full licence. I passed my A2 first time, all thanks to Tina and Ossie at a2zridertraining. They did an amazing job at showing and explaining everything i needed to know and do to pass. Ossie knows what to say and how to say it! Great service, great method. 3 days of training and i knew what i had to do to pass. Thanks a million! read more
