The guy who answered the phone seem to know what the problem was immediately. He suggested I bring it in for a quick diagnosis so that you could give me a rough cost of the repair. Later that day I took it into the store which is conveniently located on the high street with some parking a few yards up from the shop. I was served by a young chap quickly attached my computer to their screens. He concluded that the power supply had indeed blown. But wasn't sure if it had taken anything out with it. He asked if I can go and get a cup of coffee while he checked it out further. I gave my details and booked the computer in. I had to do a bit of shopping anyway so I went to the local superstore to kill some time. I wasn't there long before I had a text asking if I could call the shop. I made the call and was glad to hear that It was just the power supply that need replacing. They gave me a quote which I was very happy with and told me that the computer would be ready for collection in 15 Minutes. I finish my shopping and return to the computer shop to see my computer on the counter running with all my files still in the same place. To our delight, we learned that they would actually launder our clothes for us and have them ready for pickup after 1500. Wonderful! At first, I was very uncomfortable trying to figure out how it all worked, and the attendant seemed annoyed at my presence (another ass-wipe American, right?) Of note: the business is a full-service laundry establishment, so there are people actually working there (in what appears to be a laundromat in the U.S.) So, as I stood there in shorts (going commando), flip-flops and a t-shirt (I was trying to get everything I had with me clean), a woman named Sue finally stepped up to help. Coins? Apparently, the U.K. minted new coins that don't fit in old coin slots (parking meters are the same story...) so Sue generously changed out my NEW coins for old and explained retrofitting the machines to accept the NEW coins would cost like $200 (pounds). Anyhow, Sue and I got to talking and she was really kind. As for my laundry, it got clean and I was in/out in about an hour. I bought soap from Sue, exchanged new coins for old and talked about Wales...it turned out to be a fun laundromat experience. 4 stars

However, this is a small shop and I would not recommend it for anyone looking to purchase hardware/software from new. Use a large retailer for that and remember to do your research thoroughly to get the most hardware for your money.
