Two summers ago I discovered woodpeckers had punched some holes in the siding. I contacted Chad Carpenter of Carp's Complete Exteriors. Upon removal of some of the siding, it was apparent that the original builder had not used a water resistant barrier (WRB), but had simply installed the siding directly onto the Celotex. The resultant water intrusion led to a breeding ground for insects, which then attracted woodpeckers. Chad shot me a price that I thought was more than fair for removing all the siding on two sides of the house, restoring the walls to how they should have been done originally, replacing the siding and repainting. The work was done in a timely fashion, and I couldn't be happier. It was a great experience.
