Did my annual firework order. usually gets sent via R+L Carriers, a little slow but never had any issues really. got shipped via AAAcooper this time. 3 weeks in and they handed it off for delivery to a company that doesn't deliver fireworks, or rather cant legally since they aren't certified to. This has been a stressfull ball of crap with this company. it has got to be poorly managed and short staffed or something. this is just plain terrible for a delivery/shipping company. I have filed complaints on the state and federal level for their deception (Texas and Federal have mechanisms for complaints). They lied upon the whereabouts of my property. They refused to give me my property after being paid up front. At this time, they have my property, and are holding it, without my consent. They should remember everyone has cameras now. We were considering AAA Cooper Transportation for our business but did a test run of their shipping services first. We packaged and shipped an antique oak table to my daughter and trusted it would get there safe and sound. When I say packaged, I mean we had it shrink wrapped, bubble wrapped, styrofoam around the corners...it was wrapped well but they still managed to do damage to the table. Fortunately we insured the table thinking should anything happen, we'd be covered. I couldn't have been more wrong! According to April Sharp, the Cargo Claims Analyst with whom I've been dealing, I must provide an invoice showing the original purchase price. I've told April several times it's an antique table, well over 100 years old so there is no "original invoice". I'm still battling with them but rest assured there will be no payment of the invoice until we are made whole. So my advice to anyone looking for a shipping company, do NOT use AAA Cooper!! read more

How this company remain in business is beyond my imagination. Ordered a special order door from Home Depot 2 weeks ago (Steve's and sons). It was delivered today with major damage. Either they deliberately damaged it or just didn't care how they were dropping it off; either way the door is a total loss and will need to be reordered; I don't understand why Steve's and Sons or anyone would ever do business with ACT. Horrible service! How they are still in business! I prepaid for the delivery, requested in writing liftgate, driver showed up without one! Had to reschedule! Then get an email from their billing, stating they didn't get a payment (I already paid days before!) and will cancel the pick-up, like what? Emailed them with confirmation number. Finally driver picked up the shipment FEBRUARY 20. And they keep showing delivery will be next day, finally after 1 hour waiting on the phone, I was informed today FEBRUARY 27 the pallet still in Origin Service Center, because their clerk made a mistake and put same address for the origin and destination address! HOW STUPID! And no one, I AM REPEATING, NO ONE BOTHER TO CHECK AND INFORM ME, NO ONE EVEN APOLOGIZED! read more

They DEMAND that you answer your home phone within two seconds of them calling you or they cancel your delivery, but when you call them they block private phone numbers, so when you call from a public phone, you sit there for 15 minutes of ringing with no answer! AAA Cooper called me on 7/21 and told me my Home Depot furniture would be delivered tomorrow (7/22). I was told I'd get a call within 30 minutes of delivery. End of day 7/22, no delivery, no call, I called the number that called me from AAA and was advised they had my furniture but failed to put it on the trucks. Delivery would instead be 7/23. Here I am, 7/23, waiting and no call, no delivery. No one answers phone but leaves a call number on the vm to call, 214-289-3925, I leave a text. And call, to which I was told, wrong number and hung up on. I need an explanation and someone to give me my time back! What an unprofessional company. Home Depot you should do better. If i could give this company a negative star i would! This company is the worst company i have ever delt with my whole 18 years in logistics. Our $3,500.00 pallet was picked up on November 14, 2024 and was scheduled to be delivered to Henderson NV the next day, shipping from Phoenix AZ. Called this company on November 18th to check the status and i was told by this company that they were short on drivers. Ok, in today's world i'll buy that. On November 22 i call this company to get an update and they told me that they are short on drivers. I explained to them that it was quoted for 1 day transit and here we are now on day 6 giving me the same BS line about being short on drivers. And now today, November 25, they finally come clean telling me that they lost our $3,500.00 pallet. I asked them how do you lose a 60"x50"x42" pallet. He could not answer me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Pay the extra shipping cost with another freight company. read more

I am writing this complaint to AAA Cooper who are less than a mediocre transport company, Home Depot and Werner Ladders. I recently purchased a podium ladder which took longer than proposed time to get to me. It seems it never left Werner Warehouse on time and they then handed it off to AAA Cooper to deliver. I put the pressure on Home Depot since they are whom I purchased it from and Home Depot did everything in their power to get it delivered and even reduced the price I paid for the ladder.AAA Cooper delivers it yesterday and low and behold the first rung is bent and fiberglass is scratched. This company would mess up an anvil with a rubber hammer. I purchased an OEM hood for my car from Florida, Seller used this worthless company to have it shipped to a body shop in San Antonio, Tx. On delivery, box was found heavily damaged Body shop rep. told the driver that he needed to inspect the hood for damage (per the sellers instructions) Driver told rep. to go ahead but no matter what, he was not taking the item back. Body shop found damage to hood that was consistent with the box being dropped/manhandled. Driver reiterated that he was not taking shipment back, that a claim needed to be filed with the seller and left. Total B.S. Do not use this company to ship anything. read more

Not sure why I'm giving 2 stars, guess I don't want to be dramatic. We had a Home Depot order delivery via this company and they kept telling us delivery would be between 11-4 for 3 days in a row. When we finally called Aaa Cooper to ask when we would get our order they said, tomorrow between 11-4. According to them, it arrived too late to go in the truck the day before. Next day when there was another no-show, I called and they said they could not deliver the order because it was "too big". I explained that it was 50 pieces of 8ft baseboard and they must've known that when they contracted with Home Depot to deliver. She said, well, it's too big. They had to set up a "rescue delivery " for like 3 days later wherein they would deliver our baseboards to another competent delivery company. ‍ Once that happened, we received a text saying our order "was delivered" to our home. 2 hours of calls later and it appears the baseboards are now in the possession of a different delivery company. We still await their arrival...as do the installers we've paid to be at our house. read more

Had a lot of problems with AAA Cooper last year , in 2017 and back in 2016 - damaged shipments and a rude dispatcher who did not seem to care and sometimes when you called thy didn't bother to pick up the phone Slow response on claims also . Apparently they also did not have a local manager , rather some one from Dallas was acting as part time for that role. Gave them a second chance and I have noticed a vast improvement in the past 6 months . They have a new manager dedicated full time to this local terminal ,and new dispatcher. The office staff is friendly , they return calls promptly and try to communicate with drivers and customers . My biggest complaint with other freight companies was they would not take the extra step to notify you with an accurate window when the driver would arrive , instead tell you something like " between noon and 5 " These folks have been good at giving you a heads up 30 minutes before.. That way you don't have to wait all day if you are expecting a delivery. Time will tell if they really are new and improved . If you asked me to rat them 6 months ago it would have been Zero stars or less. I Am giving them 3 stars but if they continue with the improved service I may re visit this and raise it in a few months. read more

If you want your shipments damaged, use this company. It's obvious they hire illiterates. No one knows how to read the words DO NOT STACK. Out of 5 shipments they have not once, not twice, but THREE times damaged my shipments. One scooter was completely totaled in the crate. It took 5 months for a settlement from the first claim. 6 months and haven't received second claim. Incompetence at its best. I have begged my distributor to not use these morons. We now use Southeastern Freight and have had no complaints. read more

The team here is unorganized and does not communicate well. I scheduled a pickup for Friday, which they said should occur before 3 pm. They rescheduled to Monday with no notice. They did not come Monday and came on Tuesday without a lift gate (the driver was confused why he had been sent for this pickup). On Tuesday Chris told me 2-3pm and I called at 3, to which Cheryl told me an hour more. I called at 4 pm and the driver was apparently 45 minutes out.... long story short, not worth your time or effort. read more

We were supposed to get a shipment in on 4/29, it didn't show up. It was supposed to be here on 4/30, it never showed up. I called, no chance of delivery now because it is Friday afternoon, so, supposed to be delivered today 5/3, guess what? Never showed. Called AAA Cooper and the guy says that I probably won't get it today. Period. No explanation. I asked if my order was still on the truck and if it is still out for delivery and he said yes. Ok, what time can I expect the delivery. Once again he tells me I probably won't get it today. I question the word "probably" to which he tells me it might be here by 6-6:30 or it might be here tomorrow. Probably, might, and might are of no use to anyone wanting to know if an order is coming and when. I hung up, he wasted enough of my time. I didn't think they could be as bad as the reviews were saying, I like others didn't choose them, I made a purchase from Home Depot and they were to ship to my home so they used AAA. They are as bad as everyone says. Now Home Depot is having to rescue the item and send through another carrier which delays the delivery by 7 to 10 days. As mentioned in other reviews they are unorganized with a total lack of communication between drivers and office. Drivers are unresponsive. If it were possible to give negative reviews, I would. I didn't hire this company, they were hired by a logistics company to deliver some furniture from the port in Houston. Besides the fact that they missed the delivery by a day, then kept me waiting until 2:30pm (after telling me that they would deliver before noon), the driver was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. When the boxes were dumped on the driveway, they were obviously damaged, and one was crushed. Because they were stacked 3 high, I asked the driver to take them down so I could inspect the merchandise. Not only did he refuse, but then accused me of treating him like a slave. The world is so racially charged that comments like that have no place in a professional environment. It wasn't until after the driver called the police did the dispatcher inform me that I had 72 hours to report damage. This situation could have been completely avoided if the driver and prior dispatchers that I spoke to had been properly trained AND if the company had communicated to me a delivery window (as is custom with every other delivery company I've dealt with) on the date of delivery. Cedric was the only helpful person at this company that I spoke with. Enrique (one of the dispatchers) and Chris (delivery driver) were completely unprofessional. I didn't hire them in the first place and wouldn't recommend you do either. read more

Just got thru with a horrible experience with this AAA Cooper terminal. My customer finally had to go pick up his pallet at the terminal because they could not get it delivered and I spent at least 2 hours on the phone with them. The general manager told my customer that it was my fault because I did not create a Bill of Lading even though my customer had a copy of it that I had faxed to him containing both the Pro number as well as the signature and date of the driver that picked it up... Customer service does not exist at this terminal. I do not blame all of AAA Cooper as for the most part this company does a fine job. This terminal is in great need of new supervision as their unhappy customers reviews reflect. read more

My vendor used AAA Cooper, at first I was truly impressed.. They shipped on 8/2/17 from OK, it arrived in Austin at 6:59 am on 8/3. I am located in Austin and was excited that I would recieve my inventory. I called around 12 pm and was told they hadn't cleaned the truck yet. When could I expect my order, 8/4 unless I want to pick it up.. I don't want to pick it up I want it delivered. it is now 3:20 pm on 8/4/17 the status of my pro number is the same arrived in Austin terminal 6:59 at 8/3/17. I can't get anyone on the phone I am at a loss of words. I wish we could give a negative review. Very disappointed will never use EVER... read more

I have been dealing with AAA Cooper for almost a year now. Why I am not sure. I guess the prices are too good to pass up when my Shipping department is looking for bids. They are never on time for pickup or delivery. A scheduled pickup between 2 and 5 usually means the phone rings at 4:58 PM and they ask if we will be here until 5:30 PM since they are running late. I have a package right now that has been in Pflugerville Texas (10 miles from Me) since 9-28-2016 and as of today 10-4-2016 they have not delivered it. It was scheduled to be delivered 9-29-2016. I have left messages twice with no return call. I do not recommend using this company. Pay a little more and save the headache. read more
